They're just reassuring each other because they both put money on the wolves winning the series. Pretending the wolves didn't care about this one because they already got the first win. That's not how a young hungry team plays first of all, second of all they give memphis no credit. If they were expected to sweep memphis then maybe but they're not. You don't just give up a game in a series that's expected to go to 6 or 7. Memphis cooked them and they are in denial. Can't wait to hear what the excuse will be next time.

If they don't get to the finals or win a championship, he most likely will. I'm not saying he SHOULD, but we're in a generation where most players just want to play for bigger markets or team up with friends on a better situation. It's sad, but true unfortunately. He might even leave eventually later in his career even if he wins a ring in Memphis to be honest. I can even see Giannis leaving Milwaukee towards the end of his career in his late 30's.

Grizz made adjustments taking out Steven Adams
game 1 was minny playing at their ceiling, and they have to play at that level every game to be competitive. memphis has room to improve game to game, they had headroom in game 1. so in a tight game, imo, minny doesn't have the chance to push into another gear, while memphis does. i think the wolves sadly playing at their peak only makes it a tight game. if the griz kick into a higher gear like they did at the end of the season run against warriors/suns/bucks etc, this should be a 5 game series.
Did you watch game one? Minnesota was in control nearly the entire game. Not sure where the notion "tight game" is coming from?

there is something you missed, yes they can never be at level of Grizzlies at offence but they can stop them to their level with their vicious defending they have lots of room to go up when it comes to their defence. And they didn't use that this game.

Memphis is only one of two teams that is top 10 in offense and defense and Minnesota is not the other team.
Jeezus the Southwest Division is a bloodbath. Ja with the Grizz, Luka with the Mavs, BI and Zion with the Pels, Murray with the Spurs, and Jalen Green is on the up and up with the Rockets.

Shaq and Kenny have said numerous times over the course of the season that Memphis is a really good team. I actually picked Memphis to win the series but I would not be surprised if it goes down to the wire because of karl-anthony towns.

Idk game one minnesota shot the ball way above what they are used to, and the grizz had a dud. Each game has been a blowout. One thing became evident though Brooks can shutdown Russell, and KAT can't get in foul trouble. I expect from here on out we have +10/-10 type point differentials. But the T-Wolves are thin I think Memphis really goes after KAT in the paint from here on out.

@@DetroitTyler a lot of it will come down to whether or not JJJ can be disciplined on defense. The first game he picked up 4 fouls real quick and had to sit it out, and KAT was able to go to work. This game he was more disciplined and KAT was more stifled

When they took out Steven Adams to make that in game adjustment, I immediately thought about how Doc Rivers would have lived and died with Adams and told everyone how long he's been coaching basketball after the game. Sometimes you gotta make those types of adjustments in a series

This show is fun, but they actually give zero insight on what actually happens. Great adjustments by coach Jenkins, Kat is an horrible match up for Steven Adams and he realised that. Team basketball is what made Memphis the second seed on the West. That's why they have a ridiculous record without Ja and that's why when Ja just goes to the paint trying to dunk like the first game they actually play worse. However, with Ja and the team playing like yesterday I honestly think they are the best team on the NBA

Memphis didnt get much credit for the adjustments they made that led to the TWolves getting beat so handily. Memphis has a deep bench and was able to get a lineup that defended KAT much better than the Steven Adams lineup and they played off of Beverley so you could use a guy as a floater. Also, Ja made adjustments to the way they were guarding him and stopped attacking the rim so hard and got teammates going by using a drive and kick mix. Give Jenkins and Grizz credit!
