@UC7cMG1wCJBDU4lB4aJWjISg Not really. Doesn’t matter for the Suns anymore because without Booker now the Pels can focus defensively in CP3. If Ayton does go off (far shot), and even Mikal Bridges has a few solid games (has had more than a few 20+ point games this season). It’ll be CP3, having to lead the offense, Ayton having to just get lobs from CP3 and shots off on pick-and-roll, and Mikal Bridges will have to be 20+ points a game. If he goes off and has a 20-30 point game, if Ayton has a solid 20 point game down the stretch, and CP3 goes off one or two games, they’ll have a chance to pull this series out.

Yeah that hammy needs weeks of rest not a couple days. He's gonna need management or at least a solid week of rest. I would play him in the fourth quarter only if they are down with the game in the balance for quick offense. He would be a defensive liability if he had to play the whole game. It's a tough decision to let him play or sit because he can do more damage. They should use the center and try to slow the game down to let him rest. Without zion, ayton has got to go get them 40 if they rest booker. Chris Paul pick and roll them to death.

The Suns transition defense was putrid all game. The fact we were winning at half was a testament to just how hot Booker was, and he was going to probably score 60+ points if he didn’t get hurt. The Suns will make the adjustments, and once they slow this Pelicans team down, they should run away with this series. My fear is rushing Booker back to fast and having him re-aggravate that hamstring. Those injuries always linger. With that said, hats off to the Pelicans and Willie Green! His team is playing at such a high level, and the games have been throughly entertaining. I think playing a tough opponent bodes well to the winner of a playoff series, and I’d expect the Suns to bring their best effort to Friday’s game.
