I love how you smile throughout the whole video as well as your other videos...even though it gets creepy after a while ;) haha but keep up the awesome drumming and I love all your covers! (Y)
haha agreed!!! but Omar's drumming on the second half was much more dominant so there really wasn't any room for me to play. I just tried to add a little bit to this first portion.
So...I don't want to detract from your playing, you've got some chops . But your playing detracted from the song itself. The song specifically sets different thematic moods throughout as it builds, because Giorgio talks about the different eras he drew inspiration from. The entirety of this album is based on simple 4 on the floor beats with super subtle rushing or dragging behind the pulse to create completely feels. What I really wanted to see was you holding the feel down, locked in without losing it. And then at the end is where you pull the flashy shit, during the section literally for the drum soloing... Obviously that end part was a bit daunting because you ended it before that. But thats the one part in the album where the drums really let loose man, you blew your load way too early when it wasn't called for.
I can play this game too (as a woodworker, an electrical designer by profession and I have current/past experience with a piano, guitar, drums and sax's).....let the games begin: SO....you are detracting and....blah blah blah blah. Put up or shut up. The description literally says, "......but I was able to create most of the feel and texture solely with the HiHat.".... I have the actual song playing along side with "Mad in the Hat"'s version and it's f*cking awesome with the hi-hat fills. Calm down sparky. Here's the thing...a comment like yours should and must be (in todays' troll world) backed up by a video with your own skills. And by my mention of my profession and hobbies: I'm not an EXPERT in either of them but I have enough knowledge of all of them to have an objective view and say your comment is "typical" on UA-cam without a video backing it up. I can give you tools to make hand-cut dovetail joints, I can show you the electrical code and the software to design it and music staffs for multiple instruments but I would NEVER post a comment like you did with out linking a video on "how it should be done.". OK, that's enough Laphroaig 16 yr for me tonight. (once it hits your lips...IT'S SO GOOD!)
awesome job!!! .... but you missed the last part of the song.... the best part!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fck! I've come to see that part!!
Fully. Thats the drumming madness in the song. Not the slow jam lead up.
Quality drumming!! Seriously though, how can u not play the last and best part of this amazing song??!
you overdid the first half and skipped the second?
Great Cuban flavor on the Rhodes electric keyboard solo. You look like you really enjoyed that
Thank you! I studied with an amazing drummer from Brazil for 2 years. A lot of that style comes thru naturally in my playing. I love it!
Nice job dude. Actually amazes me that people can dislike this.
I love it!
Love this guys style !

I love how you smile throughout the whole video as well as your other videos...even though it gets creepy after a while ;) haha but keep up the awesome drumming and I love all your covers! (Y)

Your snare sounds ace
you missed where the fun began
the best!
Whole song cover maybe , pls ?
Nice!!!
You should cover sonique - it feels so good. Be a shame not to
This is great! What cymbals are you using in this video and what kind of hi-hats do you think are used in the studio recording?
+Alex Ferrer Thanks! i'm not sure which they used in the recording but the cymbals i'm using here were all vintage zildjian. they sounded awesome!
+Alex Ferrer I'm also curious about hi-hats used in the studio, because I think this may be the best sounding hi-hat ever recorded.
Solid
haha agreed!!! but Omar's drumming on the second half was much more dominant so there really wasn't any room for me to play. I just tried to add a little bit to this first portion.
💥💥
quelle finesse
I expected the best part, the climax of the song D:
Nice Cover 👍
How do you hit the hi-hat like it being rubber? O_o
blacklightgamer97 kind of a loose grip on the stick through the palm... pressure around the knuckle
Nice job, but you missed the last 5 minutes of the song (the best part)!!!
Esperaba la última parte! xdd
todos! jajajaja yo incluso le di hacia adelante!
came here for the drum solo. still looking for it

Nice pocket bro.
You really SKIPPED THE LAST PART?!
Come on bro.
Good shit tho 👍🏼😌👌🏽
2:16
Please use the toms!!! They are drums too!!!
we all are!!! :) lol
That end is so painful. But otherwise it's great drumming
And... That's not the full version of the song. You missed the best part which I thought you did that intentionally.
And it stops right before the good part...
Overplayed the fist half then doesnt do the second lmao
The cross-sticking work at the end was quite proper. Great job man!
Why do you say: I'm professional drummer? Nonsense! My thirteen-year-brother plays better. Nothing special.
You didn't do the most interesting part
