No problem take any road you wish 20miles outside Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania and you will have to cope with some of the best dirt roads in the world with th 2ft deep trenches and full of potholes, you will love it driving there especially during the rainy season,

A very special holy and beautiful day for those 3 girls on their communion day, all the people of the area turned up at church in the best Sunday going to mass clothes and polished leather shoes, and not a horrible trainer to be seen, Even The Old Man Of The Sea Fr Spencer Tracy attended on this special day before heading back out to high sea to fight that big fish that he caught and strapped to his old rowing boat

I am sure they all walked up to Day's for a mineral and a packet crisps, pints of plain, first.

Great days,no asylum seekers to be seen,we were poorer material wise, but very rich in community spirit, and we'were an independent country.

If you think 1960"s Ireland was better you're having a laugh! Majority of Irish folks were seeking better lives abroad and, for the most part, were made welcome and did well. Simpler times with what the Catholic church were doing to our young? Such rubbish!

The Irish people who emigrated worked damn hard, not like these asylum seekers, who get everything free, that's why they fly half way around the world to get here, it's no coincidence how violent crime has risen so much in the last few years.

What a disgusting statement to make. 1965 in Ireland saw catholic priests abusing children and young adults. Saw catholic moral teaching into civil law. Consensual gay sex was illegal. No contraception. A population who kissed the arse of the catholic church, and gave them their money and freedom. No, this isn't the Ireland anyone should want to go back to

@@Interlocutor67 American multinationals? If so, they've only increased our tax receipts by billions! Third world? You mean folks keeping a service / other economy buoyant? We have a desperate housing crisis but no way are we not better off now.

Maybe you just don't understand, it was done out of respect and for the love for God good priests on earth, who is going to bless you, hear all your bad sins and give you forgiveness, A priest is going to stand over your coffin and say prayers and bless you, he is going to stand beside your grave and ask God to forgive you for all the wrongs you did in life and ask that your soul is directed into the Kingdom of Heaven, This holy and blessed priest will do all that you, even after your cheap insult, they will forgive you sins and they will not charge you a penny, Who else would do all this for you and not ask you for a single penny in payment

@@jamesbradshaw3389 read my txt again as you seem to have misunderstood ....a priest is a holy man and he should not have to carry his own suitcase ...or anything for that matter....that's disrespectful ...in the east people show all holy men the greatest respect and are eager to carry their belongings

@Woke_Imperialist6066 this is an instruction given to a rich man who was attached to his wealth and position...not every instruction applies to all...the man who is not attached to his wealth and follows God is not advised to throw away his belongings ...different strokes for different folks.
And it's not practical for a man in the desert to throw away his sandals as the sun makes the sand red hot to walk on barefooted
Jesus had a father ...what did he call him
To call someone your father is a sign of respect

@Woke_Imperialist6066 hey ..we're talking about an old priest here on an island in the cold Atlantic and you expect him to walk around with no shoes ...have some common sense and if you don't have any ask someone for theirs
