Thank you for your video. UA-cam is a great way for all of us to learn about places we will never see, and understand that humans are pretty much the same everywhere & most of us care a lot about all of us ! I enjoyed the honking parade to mark St. Patrick's Day. I am only 1/8 Irish thru my grandfather, but feel that recognizing all the genes in there is important ! I'm a Brit from London, long since in the US, but I did go to Ireland once in the 1960's, Cork & then the Ring of Kerry. Good memories of the beauty & helpful people !
I've never been to Inishbofin, George but it looks spectacular. The dark weather makes it look pretty primal but the sunny weather makes it look tropical. I feel a new video coming on. Lol
Such a contrast with the grey & blue sky! A wonderful place to explore, so many little gems. Hope you were warm enough in your tent while taking in those views 🤞 You probably brought great excitement to those involved in the parade 😂
It was a wonderful short weekend. I hardly saw a soul Saturday, felt like I had the island to myself. The camp on the beach edge was a bit nervy at first as it was windy. I was toasty warm in my 3 season bag (recently added a silk liner and its a game changer imho), I didnt even have extra jammies on 😂, but I always use my warm hooded jacket in bed in tent anyway. I also invested in a 4 season inner for the Lannie and it's great, no condensation despite my hot air! The parade was a real bonus as I was early at the pier, and there's only so much lunch a man can work through! I was the only observer at that point so the drivers obviously appreciated it. I got myself a video editing app and it's helped to put my little vignettes together, but I just use my phone so quality isn't up to the standard of my heroes of the YT world, and of course it's still all very amateurish. That's 3 island in 3 months. Not sure which I'll do in April but please God I'll get to one, maybe Inisheer. Wish you well Miriam over the next while, take good care. G
@@pipandbenji great you got the 4 season inner! The phone is working well to show off the footage, the lovely islands make it easy 😎 Enjoy your next adventure you lucky thing, especially while the masses haven’t arrived yet!!
