  • According to Chadha “Dastangoi needs three elements: the one who listens, the one who tells, the one who creates. The world of Dastangoi needs the audience who is going appreciate the performer and the creator behind new ideas. …. Every little action matters.”
Ankit Chadha, a graduate in History from Hindu College, who left his corporate job to get into reviving the lost art of storytelling called Dastangoi. He believes in the ideology that the spoken word is the ultimate truth in itself, that it is self-sufficient and propagative in nature.
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at ted.com/tedx

The issue is that Urdu is being made to look as if its Muslim language.. Urdu was the most widely spoken language so much so that little do we know after independence Urdu could have been our national language had it not been for some elements in politics.

I struggle to believe you are gone. The messenger of love and stories - You will be deeply missed. No dialogue, hymn or story will ever fill the vacuum of your absence.
