thank you soo much for your videos - I finally understand some concepts!!! These are a million times better than my teachers (who didn't bother to finish the spec properly and practically told us to finish them at home 😭😭)
@@nviscallin3702Actually theyre using 2 to the power of etc (2^). If bacteria multiply every 20 minutes and in 1 hour there is 8. Then that means 60/20=3, 2^3=8. The same can be said for 64. 2hrs=120 minutes, 120/20=6 2^6=64. Thats one way to represent the exponential growth of bacteria. Also 152 is meant to be 512 because 3hrs=180 minutes 180/20=9 2^9=512
tysm for covering this chapter !! i have my a level paper 2 exam next week and you're the only youtube channel that covered this chapter properly :)

@@clarebiology2858 thank you!!
Why does it go from 8, 64, 152 and so on, what factor is it being multiplied by?
there isn’t a factor they multiplied by, this is just an example of how to logs
@@clarebiology2858 okay thanks for the reply
Its being multiplied by a factor of 8, 152 is meant to be 512.
