I see both sides of the story. I’m not saying what he did was right but what if that had been your 13 year old daughter or niece or sister with some Predator 35 year old praying on her. Think about that.

I disagree. He ruined his life, his marriage, and potentially his relationship with his sister in the process. He had more than enough evidence to get that guy put away for longer then the time he himself did, and the other prisoners would of taken care of that guy in prison. His relationship with his sister would have possibly been better, and he would certainly probably still be married and had a few kids and a good job

Christina Dominguez Yes, my dad stayed away “for me” as a young teenager, because he was using, and it backfired. I ended up looking to older men for attention, and ended up getting turned out. At the same time I know people who have smoked crack or meth with their parents since they were 13, so I can see why people think they should stay away, too.

@@aussiemma8426 I hope you're still young with a polarized and uneducated mindset like that. You know what's the difference between you and a heroin addict? nothing but a couple bad choices. Being a drug addict doesn't make someone a bad person. Everyone has bad times in their life, for some its more visible than others. Pick up a book and learn something before you cast judgment

Michael Porter being a drug addict is the exact thing that makes you a bad person. It’s what made me a bad person. I stole from friends and family, then when all hope was lost I would burrow my way in and steal again. I was never like this before I started using heroin and have not been the moment I stopped using. Being a drug addict made me a terrible person.

It was truly a life-changing experience to have someone so different from myself speak directly to the deepest parts of my consciousness. Just be honest with your daughter, tell her your story; so no one else does. My father passed away when I was thirteen, and now at thirty, I’m finding out that everything I thought my father was, he is not. It may not all be true, but i will never know. Talk to her, she may shut you out, but keep trying. You can’t rewrite your past,; However, you can make an amazing conclusion. Tell her the bad, the good, the ugly and the pretty. I found myself with a man just like my father; smh, or at least what I thought he was. I didn’t know the warnings; but if he had been honest with me, even at thirteen, maybe life would be different. I am now in a great career, and life is good from what it was. Talk to her, this is coming from a daughter to a father. Drugs, jail, and all the messed up things in between, my dad did that, and you know what? I still love him; I just wish he was honest with me, no matter how much it hurt him, because now I’m the one lost, hurt , and left to pick up the pieces of his past; so that I can understand my present.

I agree. My father was wonderful to me with a few hiccups. I knew I was loved by him though. He lived with so many demons yet only told me half truths of his past. Later after he passed I put two and two together about a story of his and asked my aunt...my father in a fit of rage beat his pregnant wife before my mother and killed his unborn child. It messed him up for the rest of his life. He never could forgive himself enough to live a healthy life and he missed so much with me because he was afraid to hurt me.

He had balled up spit in the corner of his mouth for the most of this video and then he licked it off back into his mouth after it sitting on his face for like 20 minutes straight.

Amen brother! I hope your life changes for the better. Don't give up as you said. Your story is amazing. Hopefully it keeps people out of prison.

Loved this interview. I see many people judging him in the comments. Its easy to critique from behind a computer. If you have so many ways to help, go and help him. I think he was honest in his story and I hope he can help younger kids to find their right path in life. Good luck Tony! And please, talk to your daughter, be honest and show her that you care and love her.
