Tahoe & Silverado center wheel cap easy swap without removing wheels

- I found an easier way to swap the center caps on the wheels of a Tahoe, Silverado, Suburban, or any large truck or SUV from GM without taking off the wheels to pop the cap out. Replacing the gold bowtie center caps with the black bowtie on our 2021 Tahoe.

Great idea. I used a phone mount for my truck the first time I had to get them off. I then went to using the scotch 3m velcro fastners. Throw two on there, make a handle out of the middle with some slack and pliers to pull the caps off. Stole the idea from someone on here but my chevy center caps needed two pieces instead of the one.
I had to pop back in and tell you this is genius. I used an old gps suction cup and was done in 2 mins. Brilliant. Thank you.

Great tip! Question...how are these center caps holding up for you? Ive tried 2 other type of caps on these same wheels and the damn tabs keep snapping off. Might have to try the ones you used but would love to know how they've been holding up. Seems like they just popped right into place on this video.

Bummer, it took a few tries for me to get a seal. Make sure it’s really clean
I left my suction cup mount on my windshield. Stuck much better to the caps when it was warm and sticky sitting in the sun.
How wide is that suction cup
