Thank you for the video! I'm not really that good at cubing, I'm 53, not a teenager.I started a couple of years ago and I know 90% of the PLLs and maybe half of the OLLs. I can solve in about 20 seconds and I feel like my look ahead is starting to develop. I have a GAN 11, a GAN 12 Mag LEV which is my main, and a GAN iCarry which is good but it doesn't feel anywhere near what the GAN 12 feels like. I will be buying this GAN 12 ui as soon as it becomes available because I feel it will give me the motivation and the help I need to memorize the rest of the algorithms. I'd love to get a 10s solve one day. Thanks again.
Damn thats good, my dad is 50 but he knows only begginer method and dont want to learn how to solve cube faster. Keep up with the learning. When i started i never knew that i could achieve 8.20 solve which is nothing special in cubing terms.
@@actioncameraspro I'd love to get an 8.20. I really enjoy solving the cube. It's almost therapeutic for me. Especially the large cubes. I mean, it takes me 11 minutes to solve a 7x7 but I really enjoy the process.

I have the GAN12 ui, the non FreePlay version and it is very good. It lasts 2hrs 20 mins before needing charged, I believe this version lasts 15hrs on single charge. The one I have comes with a charging pod with frosted top, you can see the difference in my unboxing. I wonder are these the only differences? It's a big improvement from their other previous smart cubes which can catch a lot. I still wish the app was a lot less cluttered and had easy to read numerical stats in the overview for moves, tps, ao1000, lifetime stats.., not just graphs. Anyway nice first look and crazy speed! 🙂👍

I have had the Gan I carry s for about 5 months now, and I personally think it's awesome. I average 11 and I've had mulitple 7s and 8s. great video matty!

gan 12, 13 fx and 13 for me. the 12 does not lock up at all for me

Does the Freeplay come with a lid for the charging base?
What exactly is Freeplay? Are there two versions of this GAN 12 ui cube?
@@sylvainguinepain5624 From my understanding the original 12 UI had a very limited battery life. The freeplay has a power pod that can old a 3 hour charge and the battery for the cube holds 1.5. On the box the only difference is above the barcode it says freeplay
no lid just a charging base
So you can't use samrtcubes in a competition?😭😭 such a shame, they're expensive and quite similar. Only for blindfolded, I understand it😄
