Home Free went all out during Quarantine. And Peter Hollens and Voiceplay. There were some epic musical treats! Your reactions are some of the best ever! And I will help you rob Adam's house as long as I get any big cat minis (I like to play a werepanther!). Oh, speaking of minis, have you seen Voiceplay's mini of "Your Turn To Roll?"💙
Tim's wife, Jenika, always wanted to foster kittens but they were too busy and not home enough to do it. Tim wasn't a cat fan,but found out that he did indeed love cats. Jenika said once that every time the kittens were adopted out,he cried like a baby. They adopted two of the fosters. Great reaction!
lol!!! One of my favorite things the guys ever did! We were all so shocked, so concerned, so depressed in some cases and along came our guys starting with this making music from home, making several very fun and funny videos to keep us sane, laughing and all knowing we were together and not alone!! But about the toilet paper rant (lol) you went on about the COVID stocking up -- look up the Great Toilet Paper Shortage of 1973. It went worldwide and I remember well my grandma buying up tons of it and stocking in the attic. It was crazy. Some credited it to Johnny Carson saying what's next, we'll be running out of toilet paper or something like that. And it took off! Thanks for always showing your enjoyment and enthusiasm. I love it so much! Always watch for your reactions as they are some of the best!! Take care.
I love the 'quarantine' series 'cuz it lets us have a peek 'backstage' at their lives. It's such a clever song that really says it all. BTW, if you check out the bookcase next to Austin - the rooster from the "Country Fried Pop Medley" is on one of the shelves (he must be a pack-rat after my heart)!
Hahaha….such a good one. Tim rewrote the lyrics to Billy Joel’s Honesty. So funny. Yeah I guess diarrhea was a symptom of Covid so people went crazy for toilet paper. It never hit me that way. I got a bad cough and cold symptoms. Love the play with words…and the boys goofiness. Loved the computer getting “stuck” on Chance. Tim and Jenika fostered kitties during Covid and I know in Sunday Best Tim has one kitty dressed as a sheriff! Hilarious! I discovered them during Covid and they entertained me so much. Love them!!!😄😍 In Brother, Adam is dressed as a Mage/Wizard from D & D. Sunday Best you see more of his basement.
Adam actually will play DnD with you online if you want. I just went to his home state and played DnD with him, in person,. Was my first time ever. He made it fun.
These five (six with Darren) kept us from going crazy during the "dark times." Amazing music, chances to sing with them, glimpses into their homes, and just great energy the whole time. And yes, those are DnD minis. But no, that is not his /entire/ set up. He has more.... And an awesome table to build dungeons on while they are playing.
Adam just recently had a D&D session where he invited all Home Fries who were interested to join him. You have to check out Home Away From Home Episode 6 Adam’s Place. He show us his collection and has a D&D session also to get a little history on Home Free and see his Beat room where he makes his sounds
@@ashleylokey7468 I believe his last session was in May It’s usually on the group Fan pages and the Home Away From Home is on Home Free’s UA-cam channel.
@@LynnRamsay we did the q&a session with them at their concert last night and my son and I had to ask him about this haha. He definitely wants to do more and he said he's putting the info for the games on his personal music website now! Just for anyone who is interested like we are!
Yes, we laughed so hard through this song and video. Part if the "fun" they gave us during quarantine every 2 weeks. Such fun to try and think of what was next.
Since you're a big D&D fan I have to highly recommend Home Free's Home Away From Home Episode 6: Adam's Place. We see a bit of his life outside of Home Free, with a more extensive view of that room of his you're so jealous of. The white dog's name is Satchmo. Satch shows up here and there in several of their videos. He's one of the reasons their video BHH & WWTWWS is so special. Austin has his own solo video for Bring Him Home, and What We're Thinking While We're Singing was a part of their concert tour so there are a few slightly different versions out there.
The little rooster on the bookshelf over Austin's right shoulder is the one Chris Rupp stole from the venue they shot the All About That Bass video. He used to place it in videos for us to find 😂😂
Home Free churned out a lot of great music during quarantine. They filmed from different locations and got it all mixed together to make wonderful music.
For a week during early COVID I became a nurse in Melbourne who couldn’t wash my hands at home with soap because I couldn’t get hand soap of any kind anywhere. I’m just grateful I managed to get a bottle of hand sanitiser from a local gin distillery just as I ran out of soap. Honestly I had no time for the hoarders where bought out everything. Especially the ones who bought crates and tried to sell them at 10x the original cost. Scumbags! Thank god that’s over. I don’t think I could have done another Melbourne quarantine #mostlockeddowncityintheworld.
That was a fun reaction! Now I’d like to request that you react to Chance’s newest solo release on his Adam Chance channel- it’s a beautiful and interesting reworking of “Leave Her Johnny, Leave Her””, and the addition of “Lowlands”, with a fantastic video by Sami. The Hound and the Fox provide backing vocals. He turns the shanty into a lament, and it’s breathtaking.
I found these guys during the pandemic & they kept me sane & helped me deal with my anxiety. They always make me smile or lift my mood. Nice to see their fun quirky side. Enjoy Rob's whistling too. Did you see Adam's T shirt? It says Dungeons & Cats. They used the melody from Billy Joel's song "Honesty". And the intro with Rob's whistling is from Billy Joel's "The Stranger".
This was the first of the videos they did during COVID. I was already a Home Fry and these videos helped me make it through by giving something to look forward to and something to smile about.
one pf their best, pandemic or not....those harmonies !!! The melody is Billy Joel's "Honesty" which was a single in about 1982 or 1983 I believe. I think Tim wrote the lyrics in a short time too...like 30 minutes. I'm sure someone has the full details
I love d and d!! My family just finished a five year campaign and are in our second campaign. I didn't think I would like d and d. Turns out I do and I'm a big ole dice goblin. I ended up learning how to make my own dice,
Adam heads up a D&D group in his basement/filming/recording studio. I can’t remember which video shows it, though. Tim and Jenika fostered kittens during quarantine. The other kitten shows up in Sunday Best, and then again (as an adult) in When Will I Be Loved.
This is one of my favorite quarantine songs for sure!! Did you also notice that Adam’s shirt says Dungeons & Cats, I have a couple shirts like that too! My husband and I play with some friends almost every week!❤❤ As far as the dialup sound, I have a hard time believing they or you are that old!😉 But, I am, it just made me crack up when I saw that!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Great reaction!!❤❤
That was an AOL dial up! Not sure you're even old enough to remember AOL but to think you're saying you were a teen during the dial up era is blowing my mind. I remember when getting online was on the rise, we had a separate phone line installed because we were all on AOL so much that it was tying up the regular house line and no one could get thru
Tim's dog Satchmo is such a great dog. Jenika Tim's wife always wanted to foster kittens. So during quarantine they did that. Infact I believe that is were Lenny came from. I personally didn't have an issue except once with toilet paper. I know that in a video somewhere is Adam showing off his D&D things. I really enjoyed watching your reaction to this video.
This was so much fun! We were fortunate during the whole toilet paper debacle because our son worked at Walgreens Pharmacy so he could get us some before they even put it out on the shelves. We also ended up having about 8 at home covid tests kits. Of course I never stopped working, so it didn't affect me in any way.
Such amazing whistling by Rob...and such a treat to hear Adam sing! Home Free's creativity is just beyond words!! I love that they can find humor in serious things and that they provide that humor to us quite regularly. They are a great gift to us all❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ #HomeFree
This is such a ridiculous and brilliant parody! I adore it. They sound so good and I am incredibly jealous of their pets...lol Thank you for the livestream where this was recorded and thank you for sharing it to the public DJ. Great fun!
Fun video! One of the very rare times we hear Adam sing a solo! BTW I did not realize that toilet shortages were world-wide during the beginning of covid. I noticed we had bread yeast and baking powder shortages, also, but not quite into the stupid category.
Yeah - the toilet paper thing was strange …. And I THINK the reason is 98.5% of humans pooped at work or at school….hence the need for home based TP suddenly became exponentially greater. I bought a bidet attachment for my toilet. It changed my life. I was not going to fight for TP in the stores. Ain’t nobody got time for that.
This is one of my favorite lockdown videos by HF! So glad you've found it! They're all worth a watch but I do think this is the most of fun of all. Thanks so much for your usual amazing reaction!
You might check out Adam's new personal page. I don't know if he is offering online D&D or not, but I wouldn't be surprised. The first few times I watched this, I missed the kitten coming out of the Amazon box. By the way, I read that the TP shortage was partly because every one was at home instead of at work, so they were 'going' at home a lot more.
You really need to see Home Free Home Away From Home Episode 6. They film at Adam Rupp’s house and he takes you down into his basement to his dungeon lyre. (Not sure if I spelled that correct.) His entire setup is extraordinary and I don’t even play. It’s really impressive and I think he even makes and paints the pieces. You will freak out! 😂😂😂😂
Yeah, they did this during the "plague" and were all quarantining in their own homes and still managed to put together several vids from separate locations. And every time I watch this, I get jealous of Adams game room
Have you heard of Critical Role? It's a bunch of voice actors who do DnD. The DM, Matt Mercer, could rival Adam for noises that he can make. You should check them out. I'd love to see a collaboration of Adam either guest DMing or guest starring on their show. It would be so cool!
I always thought the toilet paper panic was interesting because it actually didn't happen where I was. Yeah we heard of it (no way not too) but there wasn't any issues actually getting any from stores and no one seemed particularly worried. 😂
I actually just found out recently that Adam Rupp does D&D. It's come in some online discussions, and it came up in the Q&A at a concert I was at. There's another video which shows his setup really well but I can't remember what it is off the top of my head.
Toilet paper... Now it didn't have to happen. People just panicked, but.... think of how much TP the average person uses a day at work or while out and about running errands. I would guess that the average household needed 30-40% more than what they were previously using since half of our waking hours are spent at work if you don't work from home or stay at home running the household.
If you watch close enough, Tim puts the soap on the back part and bites the front part. We don't see him eat any further. Now we could call that pizza abuse but I'll let you decide.
Clearly you weren't stuck ordering recycled paper toilet paper from Whole Foods because everything else was sold out. (Ouch!) I now have two cases of Charmin permanently stockpiled in my laundry room. I never want to go through that again.
Texas didn't do especially well. Although to be fair, you guys have a BIG state, so some areas may be naturally spaced further apart. But look at the CDC site with Covid-19 Mortality by State, and click through the three years. Cool map.
One year, the guys celebrated Adam Rupp’s birthday with a D&D cake and gave him the Tiamat statue. He went nuts.
