In my opinion, mid gen consoles would have to be getting new gen games until they can't run it anymore, like PS4 pro, Xbox one x, they're still stronger than a Xbox series s and run games at higher resolution
But both xox and ps4pro have same overclocked verisons of basic cpus from xo and ps4 which is compable to amd FX cpus which are known as very weak for gaming due to lack of single core performance.
You would just end up in a BO3 Xbox 360 situation 😂. Xbox one x and ps4 pro can only run the game at a higher resolution, but the Xbox series s is able to produce a lot more graphically appealing picture.

I find it funny how the Xbox One X version runs at a higher resolution than the Xbox Series S at the same framerate, At least it's good thing that the Series S version has better graphics even if it's not on par with the Xbox Series X and PS5 version.
Whilst it's still a great machine, it unfortunately has an outdated CPU and slow HDD. You can of course swap out the HDD for an SSD, but the CPU is the main bottleneck.

Não e a mesma versão ne colega ,o one X usa a versão do one base melhorada ,já o SS roda a versão do XSX que e bem mais pesada e menos otimizada, a própria versão da frostbite e diferente usada nos console da nova e velha geração,enquanto no one X mantem a engine do FIFA 2019 ,o XSS usa a versão mais nova.

Yeah, resolution is only half of the story as far as a good looking picture goes.
Microsoft should have just kept the XB1X and had the SX only.
