Fly Tying The Blue Owl Buzzer

I love fishing buzzers, and I often see some weird and whacky creations that just seem to work! I first used blue in buzzers back in the 90's and they did okay, but for some reason the last few springs they have really stood out, this one being my favourite!

Been tying a copper beaded nymph that has some similarities to this. I use a Hends tinsel black/blue uv for the collar… it’s crazy how effective it is. Really like this fly!
