Now do some videos on how to double, triple, and quadruple the power! Call up the factory and tell them we want 50 horse motors!
I had to figure this out on my own years ago. It's cool you guys put all of this in one video.
Thanks so much very helpful!!
Thanks for the video. Really happy for the tip on the low oil sensor. That could have been a hard one to figure out.
I just ordered for the first the other day, I’m impressed by the good knowledgeable service. 💣😎
Glad it helped
I have a question would I be able to use an aftermarket filter with the predator 212 without the adapter kit? I ordered one from you guys and it just came with the filter I guess it was a mistake but I’m just going to order another I have my header and jet and really wanna install the mods now without waiting on the adapter is there a way to run it without the adapter or can I run just the jet and the header for now with stock foam filter
I bought a predator. fresh out the box I removed gov gear/oil sensor. Put it back together. Later I pulled the valve cover off to swap valve Springs. I noticed a little bolt just chillin by the exhaust side push rod. One of the bolts from the breather slot came undone while engine was running and just plopped down. Surprised it didn’t damage anything. But to this day I check torque on every bolt/nut/screw on the engine. Especially internals
Always best to check your Predator Engine over before starting. You would think every engine runs smooth out the box but that's not always the case.
Another tip. After you remove the oil sensor, you can use the extra wire for a remote engine kill switch.
Please explain lol
Yes explain how
@@psae8321 The extra wire coming from the coil, you splice and run it to a ignition switch.
@@WyFosterwell dang how do you do that lol sounds cool
When I took the oil sensor off my cousins predator 212 for a install on his mini bike it was hard as hell to get the screw out I was using a wrench but it was still really hard
Nice Vid..good info!
Thanks!! Great Video!
Glad you liked it!
Dope video my man! Keep it up!
Thank you!
You're welcome!
When do you think you get it in stock again?
hey i have a question and i would appreciate if you answered. so i just currently bought the trail master mb storm mini bike and i would like to add some suspension. i was wondering if the mini bike suspension kit listed on your website would fit my bike. i would really appreciate if you responded. :)
It'll fit. The handlebars will ride a little low, but it'll work.
I put a Honda helix belt on my stock 212 with the internal governor and hit 40.4 MPH the belt was 31in x 1in
The music LOL
“The official sticker” (BWAAAAAAAAAMMMMPPPPP)
I'm getting the stage 5 predator 212 when it comes back in stock
I just placed 2 orders for some new parts. I have an exhaust, torque converter, mikuni carburetor, air filter, and flywheel installed so far. What parts do I need to replace on the inside 🤔 I was looking on your website and there's alot of different numbers and what not but not alot of information.
Get a bullet rod and 20lb valve springs as well as a cam. Nr racing sells a kit including that stuff
My predator has a straight piped exhause and a racing carburetor but this vould be helpful
Can yall do a series on upgrading this engine? Like a budget build but still get power?
We'd love to!
@@GoPowerSports do it....I need 😫 it...
I would love to see that too. Ive upgraded just about all the bolt on parts except the billet side plate. I'm ready to take on the internal parts but I have no idea what cam or lifters or rods to get.
My mean side was waiting for the pull start spring to unwind.
Can I re wire the oil sensor to an led in the front so I get warned if I have low oil, so I can ignore it if I’m turning
Of course
How do I get the decals shown in this video?
You guys are doing awesome with these support videos, keep them coming! Loving my race day mm80, the built 196 screams with the juggaverter. Now my mb200-2 is slipping, perhaps those stock 30 series can't handle a little 16hp 196!!
U have a built Honda clone 😳
@@noahbearson1317 A few.
Just bought one of these engine and while doing research came across your videos. You say after 30 minutes of running at an idle, change the oil, which I will indeed do. The instructions say the operational break in period will last about 3 hours of use during this period do not apply a heavy load and do not operate the engine at its maximum speed. Is that what you do or recommend? Thank you for your videos I learned a lot!
That is good practice, we agree with their statement.
Who actually breaks in an engine like this for 3 hours? lol. Not only that. Who breaks in an engine at idle?
@@Deucealive75 Break-in recommendations are part science and part plausible deniability. If someone ever wants to call up and complain about a parts failure, manufacturer can ask "describe the break-in procedure you followed" and if you goof that or admit that you didn't do it, it just gives a manufacturer an 'out' to not support the product. Some manufacturers will make the break-in a little onerous on purpose so that they can get owners to 'opt out' of their own warranty. But in general the only reason to vary rpm (not speaking about load, that's something else) during break-in is because in a splash-lube system, oil will spray differently at different rpm. The whole 'vary your rpm during break in' thing is just CYA, to make sure that everything in there gets sprayed with oil every once in a while. Cams in overhead valve car engines are POSSIBLY subject to problems from that, but the cam in a 212 is hanging wide open in the crankcase and gets smacked with oil all the time no matter what, so the rpm varying is less important here.
So Right now who makes the predator engine?
I know some people say Lifan But not looking that way from what i see Right now
15 or so Years ago i use to be a dealer/distributor for Ducar Engines. at that time they seemed like they where the best.
But things all changed when the "name" Predator came out.
I am in Canada And Ducar is who makes/Use to make the Princess auto engines Well they did 10 or so years ago.
The reason i ask this.. Is why are you guys not getting engines made for you with your own brand name on them?
Custom make to your specs and everything? i understand the cost of everything and it just seems that it would be worth it.
How many horsepower does the stage one kit bring? It sounded like he said “3 to 2” after going back 3-4 time and trying to hear it again.
2-3HP
If i use the stage 1. Kit do i need the 18# valve spring ?..
You don't need it but you would gain higher rpms with 18# springs IF you take out the governor.
For tip #4 wouldn’t it be better to do a governor delete?
Can you guys do a video on mods you can do with the Coleman series bike ?
We could do that!
@@GoPowerSports can you please do a tutorial on how to put the predator 212 on the Coleman ct200u ex? That’ll be so helpful you guys.
Witch 212 is the Hemi or the reg and do you have the part number
60363
My throttle assembly went to s*** in a short amount of time.
Just one of the things I would really check out and check it often, mine would stick every once in a while and thats where the sleepy bike video I made came from lol, came right out from under me in the garage ROFL.
Or I bet GPS has one to replace it with.
looking for any help, the pull starter on my 212 wont retract, but thats only when its bolted on.. it retracts fine and normal when we remove it from the engine so...lol
might have to jus replace it
@@aydencoleman2783 wait the engine😭🤣? The pull starter works when it’s off so I don’t think it’s a problem with it itself, but maybe. Would suck to have to plug it in every time to start it.
@JOSHUA GOODSELL
COME ON MAN, IT'S ALL ABOUT YOU PUTTING IT BACK ON THE ENGINE AND BINDING IT'S FREE MOVEMENT
SOMEHOW.
GO SLOW AND LOOK AT IT FROM EVERY ANGLE. SOMETHING IS RUBBING SOMEWHERE.
Would that be the same with a Briggs & Stratton
Unfortunately it would be a different for your engine.
Wait so I put oil them turn the engine on and let it run for 30min then drain it then add oil?
That is preferred.
God bless you too.
Hello nice video great tips. I'm writing because I recently purchased a Coleman CT200's/Mega Moto 212 Performance Kit but I lost the Upgraded .038 Main Jet. Is it possible to order another main jet?
Parts # 13DMJ, thanks!
Woah I thought a stage one kit was putting the billet flywheel on and billet rod and taking out the governor?
You can if you like. Some race classes make you leave it in though. Depends on your Race Rules.
Can I put this predator 212 on a Coleman ct200u ex please someone let me know
Yes you can!
@@GoPowerSports wow cool ! and how much mph will the bike go with the predator 212 ?
@@alexmarquez4807 gonna depend on the riders weight and your current gearing.

That GPS sticker is worth about 3 more horse power ...😂
JK
Haha, atleast 3 HP+
@@GoPowerSports hey I have a question how fast will a 212cc predator hit on a baja warrior
Can you take the governor screw off?
You can but we recommend that you leave it in.
@@GoPowerSports ok thx but just wondering what would happen if I take it off? Will it effect performance in anyway?
You could potential break off your tabs on your regulating frame if you're too rough with it. Also at the higher RPMs, you will feel your governor keep kicking in (unless you already took it out).
@@GoPowerSports ok just wanted to make sure thank you I haven’t done anything to the engine yet still research thanks once again
Instead of a sticker I just wrote (Harbor Davidson) so it would fit the 35+ mph minibike I have.
I never get the cool black and white sticker.
Buy something from Studz racing. Their sticker is pretty bad ass.
Just the yellow works nut it off
Hey guys I can't believe no one has mentioned the resemblance this man has with G-Eazy! Aha its unreal!
Hahaha this is a first
@@GoPowerSports Greetings from London :)
thats the governor linkage.
Or just completely remove the governor
Another tip. Do not start your engine and let it idle for 30 minutes. They were not designed to sit around idling.
Yes they were.
Engines need to be broken in when they are brand new but I didn’t really feel comfortable letting mine idle for 30 minutes straight so i did it in shorter intervals for about 45 minutes
@@trymeofficial276 they dyno test every motor brand new at the factory it doesn’t need a break in
@@Prestonnnnnn literally says in the manual to break in for 3 hours?
U look 23 but sound 47 😂😂😂
Hahahahaha!
Half of your video was on the pull start and the sticker useless information
Party on George.
