@@GusMortis "floyd rose" it's the bridge on the guitars body. The guitar he's using is a Fender Stratocaster. Not sure the model. Maybe Player Stratocaster series. Someone more versed will hopefully confirm or correct

This is very Limp Bizkit. I know people wrote them off as just nu metal BS, but their guitarist Wes Borland is one of the best, most creative riff writers of all time. I understand if you can't deal with Fred Durst's voice/performance, but the underlying riffs on those early albums are worth checking out.

Probably won't need to set aside any extra practice time for this. When I saw this clip, after just watching & listening to him play it one time, I was pretty sure I had it already figured out. Then, I grabbed my guitar & turned on my amp.
It turns out I DID figure it out before I even looked at my guitar, let alone pick it up yet. I played it right on the very first pass. Extremely easy, but I do have to admit it's creative as hell and has a funky, catchy rhythm and fresh, unique sound with a vibe that surely will turn people's heads.
What makes it different is the temolo technique he's using to slowly raise the bar through the hammer/pull offs on the low E & D strings on the 12, 13, & 14th frets, (7×) w/ an open E string slap between each + the 2 pinch harmonic. notes on the 3rd & 4th frets.
* To get the full rhythm down & played smooth , it does require tight, quick & accurate start/stop palm muting & picking but not difficult if you feel it. It'a a fun riff though!

You definitely progressed a lot within a few years, I remember seeing you play mainly old school riffs that kind of sounded like slipknot stuff but this riff is so modern and fresh!
It still sounds old school and Slipknot-ish. Just a mainstream vibe, but like a song you hear on the radio with a riff that doesn’t sound ENTIRELY mainstream. Just like when Follow You by Papa Roach dropped and all us prog-heads were tripping about the intro riff like they were about to bust out with some insane shit. No hate on the progression or creativity. Guess it’s just not so insane when you listen to ERRA, Polyphia, Auras, Berried Alive, etc. Definitely check those guys out btw.
