hell yeah! I wish you guys were in Houston and we can all go shooting! I currently only have one ar15 build from psa but next is a skeletonized ar10 from f1
It all depends on what you are planning to do with the AR. I don't think there is anything wrong with the FDR-15 besides the fact it is ridiculously expensive for what you're getting. My first AR was a Delton Sierra 316 MOE for $750 back in the day. I've changed almost every last part of the rifle to suit my personal wants and desires over the years but for the price it is a great weapon. I feel the BDR rifles is where F-1 becomes interesting. For first AR I usually suggest going towards a decent value platform or building one. The Saint is decent, The Savage is really nice, Windham Weaponry makes some really reliable stuff, can't go wrong with DPMS, a few of my friends have S&W and love them, at this particular platform you could look into a DDM4 V7 which is an awesome rifle for the price. Seekins has a nice rifle in this price point...I really like the POF renegade. Theres also some good deals from CORE 15 which are cheap but give you many options and are reliable. I'd just be sure to stay away from Bushmaster (the new ones anyhow) and Diamond Back. Only two companies I really wouldn't suggest. Even some Palmetto State rifles are nice. Shop around and see what really fits your wants and desires. I've spent alot of money buying guns then replacing the parts that made them so expensive. In the end, it's what makes you happy. Let me know what you decide. I get just as excited when others buy guns as if i were to get them myself! lol
I think either on would be a good choice. I lean towards Savage due to the fact I have so many of their rifles and have never had an issue but that's apples and oranges. Have you looked at any Anderson Manufacturing rifles yet? I just received an email about a sale they are having and they offer some pretty sweet stuff. I've built a few rifles using their stuff and the completes are looking pretty sharp.
These guys are nuts. There's no wall or anything what's so ever to prevent rounds from flying pass their targets like there absolutely no people down range from where there shooting. Insane
Why do you want it? I wouldn't get it as your first AR as there are good options that run between $500-1200. If you are looking for a decent 3-gun rifle, lots of customization, and a unique factor, then maybe shelling out $2-3k could be worth it. From what i've seen, they run just as well as other AR's but look a lot cooler.
That is a nice piece of Freedom you have there!!!
I bought this yesterday. California Compliant, I haven’t received it yet but I’ve been looking everywhere for a video.
You just missed a huge sale lol
@@jonathanramirez548 I paid 1700ish with ammo, so about $2000. What’s your opinion
@@BetterUA-cam3030turners literally has them on sale for 799 lmao

Thanks buddy!
Nice to be able to shoot of the porch. I could do that...once. Hehe!
Can you do a detailed cleaning and lube video for the f1 AR?
its a nice range gun. but as far as outdoor activities in the elements i would choose something more weather friendly
Awsome video
HammerTactical I was looking at getting an F-1 FDR-15 mod 2 for my first ar. What do you think? Or any suggestions of other companies?

HammerTactical Thanks for the advice. I'm looking at the Savage MSR 15 Recon or the CORE15 keymod scout.

What’s your opinion
What color is that, I couldn't find it in F1 Firearms? So, it's maroon polish, or pink polish?
Also is the mossberg patriot a good rifle
The Patriot is a fine rifle! We have one in 30-06 that is pretty nice.
I'm a savage fan though...lol when it comes to blot guns anyway
HammerTactical I think I'm going to get the 110 trophy hunter xp
It's an awesome rifle buddy! Great selection! You'll love it! Which caliber are you going with?
Great videos thanks for the sub
