When carson died i was devastated. His and rodneys friendship. He helped rodney grow as a person
I actually think without Dr beckett, Rodney's character could not of developed properly and it also had a big role in other team members who he interacted with more then the main crews.. For example Elizabeth Weir had an okay storyline but if you take out Rodney or beckett then her story makes no sense because that was half of her discussions.. Same with if you take out Carson then it wouldn't make sense for a lot of things when the wraith storyline went full throttle.. Of course this could all be debatable given extenuating circumstances and a switch in who says what.. But in short I definitely agree with what you say, without him Rodney would be unrealistic as a super brain type personality because you need a second, third and after to be a supporting person for the realism to make sense..

@@matthewhall7976I don't think he would've Rodney would probably to continue to grow as a person with the help of Carson especially since he came back as a clone all the more reason they should've never killed him off especially since it an unnecessary thing to do which of course the writers regretted since it pissed everyone off hence why Sunday is one of the worse episodes of all time.
Carson was adorable and probably one of the most likeable characters in Stargate.
Probably the best Scottish character in all of sci fi. He’s my favourite, next to Rodney.

Sunday really hits hard when I watched the series for the first time I was devastated he was my favorite character and they killed him in the worse way possible (although having seen sg1 I should know not getting attached to the medic )

Been watching all sg series noticed they reuse well alot of actors idk could do a vid on that
há erros e erros que jamais se pode cometer numa série de TV...uma delas é matar um personagem muito bem construido e querido do publico...depois deu um trabalhão para repor esse personagem de novo na série. Pelo menos se arrependeram e o recolocaram, meio que tapando buraco mas conseguir a audiência de volta.
