I've only had my 2014 Mustang for like 2 months but I noticed when going around turns where there's a bump you could feel the rear axle shift a bit and the car only has 39,000 miles so it's not like everything is terribly worn, it's just the design with the solid rear axle. Installed BMR rear lower control arms, BMR control arm relocation brackets, BMR adjustable panhard bar, BMR adjustable upper control arm, and a set of BC racing coilovers and it completely changed the handling. Feels so much more solid and planted going around turns. If you don't have the control arm relocation brackets you NEED to get them. Being lowered it changes the geometry and changes the angle of the control arms so those brackets correct that which in turn also helps with wheel hop as well.
Bingo! Someone gets it!!! It feels like a TOTALLY different car, in a good way, when you upgrade the suspension. The best investment you can make towards an S197 mustang imo. Great work man!
@@LoganScott. hell yea man. Doesn't matter what you drive there's always room for improvement. No point in making a daily driven/street car quick if it doesn't handle good as well.
I did the exact same mods except I have a whiteline sway bar n 305s on the back. Everything else bmr. Car feels amazing. She'll sit down n piss after those mods. I'm changing gears next going with 3 73 I have a 13 gt convertible.
Most people don't know how to take care of their vehicle.... and that's okay I guess. Currently have 131k since new on my S197 and the only thing's that have failed are the water pump and Evap gas check valve, everything else on the car is fine and like new. Regular maintenance done, the car's drivetrain has been abused all its life and still going strong, been on a 93 Octane tune since 20k miles.
How does your car hold up at 200k? I’m thinking of purchasing one but it’s at 190,000. Engine looks great and car runs great. A few slight mods but overall I think a good buy. I just don’t know how these cars hold up

Hey Logan, enjoyed your video. Thanks for the tip on the lower control arms. I have suspected that for a slight clunk in the rear especially on slight bumps. I have worked the rear suspension and replaced bushings and still hear the clunk. I think the control arms may be it. Good video.
Thanks Gee! I had a weird squeaking in the rear for the longest time and from what I read and discovered, it’s the exhaust hangers. As for the clunking, it def could be the lower control arms bc my bushings were blown apart and I didn’t even push the car hard at the time. Also read it could be the drive shaft/rear upper control arm.
my 2014 mustang has had none of the issues and now has 97K miles on it. was around 86K miles when this video was posted. The only issue mine has is hood rust and passenger wheel well cover wouldn’t stay in.
87,500 miles on mine. A lot of owners complain about water pump issues, I’ve never had an issue yet, crossing my fingers… only had to replace the windshield wiper motor as it was filled with water. The wipers wouldn’t shut off and had to replace the motor. Had to replace the pump for windshield washer fluid as well. Other than that, it’s just been replacing the cheap factory suspension with upgraded parts. Best of luck to your Mustang. We have around the same mileage and I couldn’t be happier with how well it has held up so far. Honestly as long as the engine and transmission are strong, I’ll continue to be a happy customer with these cars.
I would have laughed seeing my windshield wiper failed😂. I deleted my window washer fluid because it never rains in Vegas but other than that the car is overall a good car! What you said was spot on! Best of luck to you! More videos coming soon!
FAN Resistor electric pig tail is getting to hot because your fan motor is wearing out , eventually if you don't change the fan the plug will melt and you will overheat!
I have 82k on my 13 GT and I’ve only had to replace the seal on my differential. Other than that it’s been standard up keep and maintenance. I’ve been dailying it for 5 years now and it’s been a fun reliable ride. The one thing I do not like is the oem paint on these cars is poor quality. Probably will repaint it someday. Great vid though man! I had no idea these cars had radiator fan issues.
Thanks for watching Ryan! You’re 110% correct on the poor paint quality. My trunk looks like a 30 year old 240sx.💀. Car is very fun and reliable but when it wants to act up…it acts up! I’ll be sharing my experiences with another issue I dealt with for weeks and how to fix it here soon!
Ford has a replacement pigtail connector So you don't have to replace the entire harness $$$$$ Just for the fan harness, it comes with the wires about 5:inches long , Just soder the color coded wires to each other and your fan will work , Mine took a shit at 100,000 miles The whole connector was roasted inside Because FORD used these made in China super thin connector tabs that overheat everytime voltage to the fan is necessary That's why the pigtail is available thru them They knew they F*ck up going cheap on the electrical
It made sense why so many were available online 😂. My problem was fixed once I replaced the fan. Purchased it off eBay and haven’t had an issue sense ✊🏼🪵

I just bought a 2013 V6 Mustang and I live in Vegas which it looks like you do too. Didn’t cones with a car manual so I’m curious how to use the sport shifters
What’s up neighbor! The sport mode is pretty self explanatory overall and easy to use! 1) start the car 2) move the shifter to the “S” position 3) click either “+” or “-“ to engage the “Manual” shifting. 4) when driving, treat it as if you’re driving stick without the clutch and boom! There you go! You’re on your way to become the next Ricky Bobby 🏁
How do you like that Tesla style screen? Would you recommend it and how's the sound level get with it? Like does it get any louder overall than with the stock radio?
I like it a lot! Sound is more crisp and louder with the new unit. You can fine tune it to different audio levels too if one doesn’t float your boat. I haven’t looked back towards my old unit.
@@LoganScott. sweet! I've been going back and forth on that tesla style screen and just a regular double din stereo but hell by the time you spend $200+ just on the mounting bracket and bezel then another $200 or so on a decent double din radio might as well just spend the cpl dollars extra and get that one from Phoenix.

Cut those zip ties off and tuck the plastic behind the metal lip on your front wheel well. It goes behind the fender lip until the bottom front corners. Nice ride enjoy.
Dude you bought a ford. If you want fine tolerance matching on the body panels and great paint quality and interior go for a lexus or a BMW. With a mustang you’re paying for $25,000 of powertrain and drivetrain and less than 10,000 for everything else. I love my 2014 because it’s nostalgic and reminds me of my 2002 in some ways.
It’s a great car! I personally love the 2014 over any other year with the exception of a classic. I just noticing little things slowly go to rest as time went on as any other car would.
While Chevy and Dodge owners have to worry about the diff tearing itself loose, or the trans gears exiting the side unexpectedly, or the electrical system igniting, or the rods punching down, the Mustang's number 1 problem as reported by owners is after half a decade or so, the paint on the rear deck panel fades. While the Camaro is on blocks, and the Dodge is just a memory by then.
I will tell you one thing..... this video sucked me in and had you looking so cool up until you mentioned stuff about your seat and then seen that .... you drive an automatic...... complete "Reject Card" .... "Goodbye"!
