- Mountain biking on Burnaby mountain is sometimes a challenge with the popularity of these trails being used by hikers. Gotta be Careful and mindful. This is the alternate primary lap descent to Nicole's.

I actually really enjoy this trail + snake. Good flow and I have been finding very few people over the last few months. Mind you I ride midday through the week often. Also Nicole's is decently challenging. I enjoy Burnaby mountain since it's close and I can quickly get in two runs down the mountain. Plus coming from Ontario these are great downhill trails, obviously not to the level of the shore or something, but still solid.
Yeah those are two solid laps for sure, and they are great for working up towards the blacks on other mountains. You'll be exploring the north shore in no time.
Oh I ride the north shore a few times a week haha. Burnaby is just closer to my house and I find it's great for a quick 1 hour ride. They are definately not as challenging or as well maintained as the shore, but I do find the overall flow of gear jammer pretty fun@@MountainBikeAlec

Yup
People. I quit Burnaby Mountain long ago. It's dead to me.
Do miss those trails, though.
Its a good place to learn when starting out, but other than that I think its only advantage would be proximity to some people, Otherwise there are definitely some more exciting riding areas to visit, I agree.
@@MountainBikeAlec It's great for after work rides. Climbing up from Barnet Hwy makes my lungs bleed.
