Growing carrots by seed is the best way to plant your carrots. But it's important to take all of the correct steps so that you can have good success. The first step is to have well worked up soil that is well draining so that you can grow healthy and well formed carrot roots. The next step is to make sure you don't plant the seeds to deep or too shallow. Then you just need to keep the garden bed moist and be patient because germination can be slow. I do have an older video about how to fill raised beds however there are a few issues with that mix and I plan on changing it. I no longer recommend that mix that I was before, I now recommend about 70% topsoil and the other 30% compost or other soil amendments.
