- This is the updated BYD Tang, an electric seven-seat SUV that is available in China in three versions. The 600 km version has a front single motor with 168kW (225hp) and 350Nm. The long range 730km version uses a single motor on the front axle with 180kW (241hp) and 350Nm. In this video we're driving the 635km dual-motor version delivering a total output power of 380kW (510hp) and 700Nm.

Thanks for the review! As this is supposed to be a SUV for large families, I would have liked to see how the 3rd row seats are and how many Isofix Points it has. Do the seats in the 3rd row have Isofix?
Only the middle row has Isofix points. The third row seats are more of a plus two style.
BYD is making some nice car. I have my eyes on the Avatr 11. Hoping it will come to Australia in the near future.

So many Chinese EV car maker like Xpeng, NIO, Xiaomi, Polestar, Avatr, BYD, Chery. The Chinese consumer are really spoil for choices.

Still only LHD for the Han, unlikely that we'll see it here in the current model generation.

It certainly would, and could be a hit with families.
BYD should look and take a page out of at Citroën's C4 Picasso Spacetourer MPV and make it an EV. Those cars (mpvs) still look fresh to sore eyes sick and tired of SUVs and crossovers.

MPVs are so much more useful than SUVs in a lot of cases.
BYD already has an Electric MPV, called the Denza D9, one of the luxury brands. It is very nice and luxurious.

Yes , in the website just aopears the old. In the stand you can see the new model. Nevertheless, regarding the old, I don't think many had been sold, if any at all 😅 with taxes ans fees from the import, the price is just stupid
@@luispacheco3571 what's the final price +-? I can buy the same car in China and deliver it to my country (Ukraine) for +- 40k$. We don't have an official dealer here so many people do like that.
i have Tang from 2022.
bads: only 400km autonomy; no software update in Denmamrk since 2022 til now; wide turning range; all 517 hp are fake, not real; many softaware bugs; slow charge:
goods: 7 seats; luxury interior; Brembo breaks; many gimmycs (roatating screen, best camera sistem, big display infotainment, etc); integrated dash cam; and maybe more, besides the other car on the market
Overall... could be better for all this money i payed for.
Exterior wise, it looks like a lexus rx300/ toyota harrier on steroids.
