Great info on the various airplants. My northeast facing apartment was not good for growing plants indoors, so I concentrated growing in the patio which has been 100% better. I put the greener varieties in the bright shade , grouped together in a wooden vanda basket , and my Xerographica closer to the sunny area . The rain , fresh air , and sunlight do all the work for me and they look great. With my busy schedule , this is perfect for me.
Nice to see you on UA-cam again! Im glad you were gone for a happy reason. Your dog is adorable. I have some air plants that have been flowering, in particular, my Caput Medusae. It seems the bulbous part has been getting smaller, but I get new flowers every couple of days! Is it normal for the bulbous base to be shrinking? Also, what is the best way to water flowering tillandsia?
Question, I have been using fish tank conditioner for my tropical plants to proven mineral buildup and I add very low amount of fertilizer with it. Would something like this be a valuable option?
Would like to purchase a air plant, buy winter is coming and it is very dry in my condo, can’t take out side, because of the cold and snow. Thank you for sharing your video. I live in Canada 😊
I got this Tillandsia Tropiflora with the pink bloom it was given to me in a pot with like mossy type stuff but I took it out because it looked like it was starting to rot. How long do I soak it for? The pink flower thing lost its color and looking pale now
I'm not expert but my technnique : I started to not dry plant upside down. I literally spray the plant. My fan of course is on and Thats it. Not Dripping from water. For example tectorum or duratii are difficult to not brake upside down the Centre of leaves...

You can probably soak it! Or just mist it fairly often. Hang it in the bathroom? Idk. I'm sure he has better tips than me 😅
