Yahooo!!! It was so fun to have been a part of aiding you and the tramily to feel supported while in my little neck of the Berkshires. Who knew that I was going to provide part 1 of a 3 part history immersion when the day started? I never knew about the house on Gulf Road - very interesting little gem that is. Great job capturing and sharing the moments. While it would’ve been fun to cover a few miles on trail with you, I’m damn happy to have not trudged through all that water and mud. And thank you for shining a light on my lil biz. 😀

Kelly, those were my Crocks! They were on the trail about a quarter mile from the railroad tracks. I accidentally left them back in May while breaking my hammock camp. Was doing a SOBO section Fromm Bennington, VT to the Shay’s Rebellion monument near Great Barrington, MA. I hate that I lost them, cuz the price of replacing them has skyrocketed. - Sugar Bear

It’d be cool to live next to the AT, for a large part of the year you could be a Trail Wizard and supply people with trail magic.

Loved the tiger pig. We got some great pictures with it 😎. We walked past that historical house but no one was there to show us it. Really amazing history.

Finally, a vlogger to do Dalton some good air time! Thank you! I grew up there and you hiked past the house I lived in on High Street from 16 to 21 before moving out on my own. Now my niece and her family are there. Very nice you got a tour of the Fitch-Hoose house. Dalton is also famous for Crane's paper... since 1801. Crane's makes the paper our money is printed on... and also some fine stationery. So... you carry a piece of Dalton in your wallet most of the time. I know you made it to the end... congrats... keep up the great videos!

Hey Kelly, it's so cool that you found a crew that is good with taking in all the things to see and do on this journey. So many hikers are just about crushing miles and they miss a huge part of the experience. You are doing it right and thanks for taking us along with you.

Wow ... usually by this time of year that stream would have been a trickle, but the North East has been pummeled by rain that waterfall looks more like the spring ice out of March than summer ....very cool old industrial town ...

Another great spot that caters to AT folks is Juice - n- Java Cafe on main Street Dalton. The town really embraces the hikers.

Hey Amanda! You said Dalton is your neck of the woods? I am the owner of those Crocks that were shown at the end of this video. If by chance the are still there is there a way you might wanna claim a reward? They would be about a 1/4 mile north of the railroad tracks heading out of Dalton. Thanks in advance.

Morning Kelly! Pretty cool tour! Huge thanks to Mindy for the magic! Nothing like Mass mud! I’m glad you realized it’s better to just walk through it though! It is so funny hearing you try to pronounce all of the towns here, yeah we say things weird 🤪 Dalton is fun town to get vortexed in. Huge thanks to the Tom the angel. One good thing about going through a town in Mass on a nice day is there are always people out ready to talk. Whether you want to talk or not lol. Looked like an awesome day, but I can’t wait for tomorrow! 🙏 Thanks for bringing us along today. I hope tomorrow’s miles are kind. Keep truckin’ and be well. #giveashit

Muddsechusetts. Livardi is pretty stellar, though.
I really think folks need to work on their pronunciation of the various "shires" in New England. It's frickin' SHEER!
Not difficult. Have a nice day.

The mill by the dam on Depot Street in Dalton is owned by Crane Company. The recently purchased that mill along with several others in that area that belonged to another company by the name of Crane & Co. Confusing, I know. Two of the mills they own in the town produce currency paper. The Waconah mill is and always has been, the sole producer of all paper for U.S. currency.

Where'd that smudge on your face (on Warner Hill) come from? You wore it like a badge of honor! 😊 Wet trail gives way to sidewalks, calico cats, Vietnamese pot-belly pigs, and Corgy dogs - all under a sunny sky! Local History along the Trail has always fascinated me. Good day! 👍☺
