The Sonorus Instrument Cable from Vovox is not only the new industry standard for professional recording, but also the entire reason you would have a discussion about what makes one instrument cable different or better than any other. Using the latest conductor technology, the Sonorus Cable from Vovox raises the bar for high-quality audio production. Flawless design, impeccable quality and a sharp look, are just a few of the items on the list of great things about these stellar cables. Available in varying lengths, Vovox is now offering Sonorus Patch Cables as well, so you can control the quality of your sound at every input. Rarely has there been a reason to suggest the use of a specific cable to provide such an elevated level of quality, which the Sonorus Cable offers, and which separates it from the pack. We compared a simple chord progression on the guitar, played by SoundPure's own Guitar Expert Ross, using both a standard guitar cable and a Vovox Sonorus Cable, to exemplify the difference in quality that Vovox offers. For the Hi-Res audio files, or any questions about any of the gear used in this video, please don't hesitate to call or email us here at SoundPure. Ross@SoundPure.com, (919)-682-5552.

Thanks for sharing your experiences, I can see how in certain situations a cable could be used as a production vehicle like the other studio goodies involved in the signal path!
I just payed over 1000$ to have my pedal board all set up with Vovox Sonorus cables and thank you for this demo which clearly demonstrates the difference between them and normal ones...for me the difference is only worth it in clean tones. I play on Collector's Choice Gibsons and I thought I might as well get the best cables available...the sound ir richer, more midrange and high end frequencies and a lot warmer in my opinion.
From our tests, these seems to be clearer, ore detailed, and overall more sonically transparent - this proved to be the case both with the guitar cable here, but also with the microphone cables that we compared next to monsters.
While not a huge difference - still pretty impressive (at least in our eyes) that a relatively inexpensive upgrade such as this can make such a sonic difference.
Thanks for the comment - sort of depends on your philosophical outlook on cables. We found the vovox cables were clearer, more detailed, and more musically transparent (similar to you I think). This is something that we would actually want to have as properties of our go-to cable. While other cables can be dirtier, that's not where we expect (or desire) to achieve dirt in our signal path. Best, at least in our humble opinion, for the cable to maintain transparency, as the Vovox does here.
I dont hear a difference but i like the feel of the cable
However, im a bit confused on shielded vs unshielded. Which one should i get and does it matter?
I need vocal, guitar and instrument cables
Thanks
Can you do one of these for mic cables?
Thank you! Does your online store have them in stock on a regular basis?
how do they fare compared to monster cables? =)
This is not a fair comparison because you haven't matched the volume levels of the standard cable and the vovox cable, why one will be led to believe that the Vovox cable sounds better because it's louder. If I should take this seriously and think that this test is unbiased I would at least expect that you would match the levels...Volume is one thing transient response is an other...
Mathias Jensen if you adjusted the volume that would NOT be a good comparison. Everything else should remain the same. Low cable impedance helps drive the front end of your amp, helps dynamics. So yeah, they did it right.
it's like any other audio comparison where the dynamics are different - well the dynamics ARE different - so it's no just an issue of volume

Now I know why they cost so much. You get what you pay for with Vovox :)
i trust vovox cables so much that i changed 90% of all my studio cables to vovox..even the spdif cables. if you have to the chance to try out their power cable with your studio monitors together with vovox signal cable, and compare it to a standart power and signal cables on the other monitor.. you'll know what i mean...huge difference.
made in switzerland with the best copper wire known to man...but if you don't hear it..leave it
