    Your vids of ur brothers classic is a HUGE HELP 4 all the upgrades I've done as well as still need 2 do 2 my 66 Skylark.

    Aside from the normal wiring of the radio itself did you have to change anything else out on the vehicle? I read that with modern radios the stock Alternator needs to be changed out for a min 94Amp one to be able to run the radio as well as other upgrades so as to not cause a short seeing as how stock wiring harness wasnt meant for too much power to run through them.

      I didn't and I don't think it would be to honest. Modern electronics draw way less amperage than the older stuff. If you were going to be adding an amplifier and other sound equipment I would agree to upgrade the alternator but with just a modern radio and speakers you should be good!
