IoWSR Island Steam Show Services, 270810 Part 1 of 2

I made my third and final riding visit to the IoWSR on my last full day on the Island, August 27, the first day of the four day Island Steam Show which was taking place at Havenstreet. The Line was operating a special timetable, with half hourly services from Havenstreet to Smallbrook to Wootton (running through Havenstreet non-stop) to Havenstreet, with services not calling at Ashey. The Locomotives in use were:
|Ex LSWR O2 0-4-4T W24 'Calbourne' (recently returned from Overhaul in BR early Black, a very appealing locomotive from an aesthetic point of view I must say)
|Ex LBSCR A1X 'Terrier' 0-6-0T W8 'Freshwater'
I have lost track of the trains I rode on. All I know is I got Calbourne up to Smallbrook, then down to Wootton, then back up to Havenstreet, then up to Smallbrook and down to Wootton again, then Freshwater back to Havenstreet, so I completed two round trips during the day.
In this, the first of two parts, highlights include:
|Calbourne: arriving at Wootton, and heading through Havenstreet non-stop
|Freshwater: At Packsfield Crossing and heading through Havenstreet non-stop, passing Calbourne on shed
