I tried to work hard, but the job got to hard for me and I could not be an example. Professionally I was bad but as a person I am good is what my boss said.
You are not alone. I think secular work have different needs besides being good. However, we shouldn't separate secular and sacred but treat them the same in the light of God's calling. What you should ask and learn is what makes you valuable at work or what brings value to your work. It's something you need to find out not just working hard. It's a skill you need to learn, find out, ask your boss how you can bring value to the company
