mine was an 8ft sturgeon last year, that video is on the channel if you haven't seen it! Runner up was a 6 1/2 foot alligator gar, that vid is also on the channel if you haven't seen it 👀
When you said, on piers it’s not only about what fish you catch but the people you meet, that shit hits. I went pier fishing once and I met a kid the same age as me and we had some fun. W memories
Also, when I was a teenager I used to have a 14' fiberglass flats boat and I used to fish in Tampa Bay near an old seafood restaurant called Seabreeze, and they had a boat ramp with a bait shop, but there was an old Matson ocean liner named Britanis that was moored across the bay with an old Canadian tug named Bluenose moored next to it and we would take our canoes and my boat in between them to catch huge spadefish, but it was extremely sketchy considering the tide. The huge white 1930's ocean liner (ex SS Monterey designed by the famed designer William Francis Gibbs, designer of SS United States, SS America, known for the conversion of the former German ocean liner SS Vaterland to the SS Leviathan post WW1 that was awarded to the US as war reparations) Britanis was eventually renamed Belofin-1 and it sank while in tow to the ship scrapyard in Alang, India in October of 2000 off the horn of Africa. I first saw the Britanis in late 1994 when my parents and I went to Seabreeze Restaurant to eat dinner when I saw her two big blue funnels with the white X's on them. As a well versed maritime historian, I could never forget that ship. I always wanted to wander onboard her, but the Port of Tampa always had guards standing by.
There’s so many better spots in jax, you’re honestly not even tapping into 1/10th of its potential. I will say if you find a guy named Spencer Brogden while fishing the pier, he’s one of the best fisherman in the area and will gladly help you catch better fish
I won't be around to see his history but when you start when you finish your fishing career so many fish so much good time so many people that's what's great about fishing and all the great memories❤
I am 40 years old and when I was 15 years old my parents and I went on a Royal Caribbean cruise to the Eastern Caribbean on the 50th voyage of the Grandeur of the Seas and my dad won a bunch of money playing Blackjack in the casino and we ended up going on an 8 hour personal charter for $1,400 in St. Thomas, USVI and I caught a 58.5" Mahi Mahi, multiple large barracuda, and even a very rare (for the area) 7.5 lb black fin tuna.
I had an MRI on my left knee last Thursday, forgot my ear plugs bc the head phones they provided really suck. Surgery August 15th. My summer has been ruined but thanks for the content !
i have a couple of favorite "combos". zebco dock demon rod with a penn pursuit4 4000 reel and 14lb mono, 6' shakespeare sturdy stick with a shakespeare agility 7000 with 30lb mono and a 10' penn pursuit rod with a penn pursuit4 8000 reel and 50lb braid which will soon be 80lb braid.
We used gotcha plugs to catch bluefish while the kingfish tournament was going on in NC. Anglers would pay 1$ for each blue we brought them. Awesome times
Also if you’re dealing with crabs on a float rig, you’re fishing too deep. Move the bobber stopper down closer to the bait & you’ll get more game fish.
I recently got on those hooks you're using too man! Those things are great. I use the same size too! I at spadefish for the first time last night with my wife. They were good. They don't have a lot of meat though, and I didn't figure out the best technique for cleaning them. They were a little different!
I'm doing a super weird catch and cook on my channel in a couple weeks. I already did it just gotta edit the video. I have been wanting to catch a spadefish but haven't got one this year yet!
Dude! I just caught a spade fish off the cape henlopen pier! Delicious. Water is warm are the reef fish are coming in. Hope to fish with you one time in the ol’ first state!
If you are going to eat Bluefish they are the best size to eat.14 to18" are the best. Not to crazy over Blue fish but if I keep any that is the perfect size.
I tell you this the blue fish you're picking up or just babies we call them Snapper Blues we catch them to here in New York Napa Blues and Gator Blues what's walking 15 to 20 something lb Bluefish and they all good eating I like eating the smaller Blues
Looks like the pier in Panama City beach you’ve done better than me at this pier nice mangrove and the water is usally pretty clear tarpon rolling aswell
I have to believe that pier fishing better for your foot and boot than scrambling over rocks and walking beaches. Do whatever you have to do to get healthy!
Hey man, I have gotten into fishing after a few years but I don’t know what baits are like popular or which ones are good ( I fish saltwater in florida ) if you could give me any tips I’d appreciate that anyways I don’t wanna take up to much of your time so have a good day!
i need to reduce the amount of rods and reels i have. i have 12 rods with reels and at least 6 extra reels. im about to buy a penn warfare 30lwlclh for my 13 rod that needs a reel. lol.
What's the biggest fish you've ever caught?? 🤔🎣
mine was an 8ft sturgeon last year, that video is on the channel if you haven't seen it! Runner up was a 6 1/2 foot alligator gar, that vid is also on the channel if you haven't seen it 👀
11.2lb Northern pike on a ultra light with a tint size 3 mepp spinner no 4lb line no wire leader
I live in Florida and caught a 127 pound grouper in the keys
34 inche redfish and a 30 inche trout
82lb black drum when we went on a fishing trip. other than that it would be a catfish over 10lbs.
When you said, on piers it’s not only about what fish you catch but the people you meet, that shit hits. I went pier fishing once and I met a kid the same age as me and we had some fun. W memories
give a man a fish he eats for a day. you teach a man to fish he sits at home watching youtube lmao

Good to see you keeping your pliers on the deck instead of the railing.
FirstState with the clutch assist before the half!

Smoked Bluefish fillets are fantastic. Bleed them and keep them on ice.
Really enjoyed this one. Would love to see you try the T for some larger fish!
The adventures of boot boy 🎣
Would love to see a polarized camera lens cap or something so we can see what you're seeing in the water!
Never disappoints

I always fish at the jax beach pier and the spade fish are sooo good but I usually do whole fish 👍
I fish there too
I want you to do a catch and cook on every kind of snakehead. However, you three be blessed and safe
Little tip: hook the shrimp through its upper back where it’s really hard that way it won’t come off the hook as easy
I had an MRI on my left knee last Thursday, forgot my ear plugs bc the head phones they provided really suck. Surgery August 15th. My summer has been ruined but thanks for the content !
I love live bait 😂

I would love to see a rainbowshasher catch and cook!!
I Heard You Tell The Guy You Wanted To Catch An Angel Fish.🤗 Nice Job!
Friendly tip I learned from my pops fishing with live shrimp, if you pop the first part of the tail it’ll release a strong shrimp scent in the water
I didn’t know that and I’ve been fishing for 20 years. Awesome tip
@@sinkorswimcreativemedia8889 no problem man, give it a try. It works like a charm
Yeah, people actually take trips to target spadefish. They're really good. Great video as always.
Fishing is so beautiful
We used gotcha plugs to catch bluefish while the kingfish tournament was going on in NC. Anglers would pay 1$ for each blue we brought them. Awesome times

It’s a fact that you catch more fish by having your bait listen to metal! \m/
On rod and reel? 24lbs common carp. On a trot-line 60lbs yellow cat.
Holy that water is clear, not usually that clear there
When the shrimp die and you cast it out bob your rod up medium pace than bring it down slowly
