- After working in some of New York’s top restaurants (Per Se, Ritz Carlton), Chef Chris Kajioka opened Senia in Oahu. His goal is to combine high-end cooking techniques with a low-key neighborhood vibe, because if you can’t relax while you’re eating, then what’s the point?
Eater is the one-stop-shop for food and restaurant obsessives across the country. With features, explainers, animations, recipes, and more - it’s the most indulgent food content around. So get hungry.

I've eaten at Senia several times and the food is simply amazing. The focus on pristine local ingredients and delicious preparations makes this one of the best restaurants in the state if not the nation.
Grant Chuggy Bear Shindo what would you say the price range is, I couldn't find it on their website.
Klasien De Vent expect to spend about $60 per person before drinks, tax, tip
Some people are saying they don't like the host but i love this guy! maybe it's because i'm local, but watching this video i feel like i'm with them talking story.
Mika Morii - I agree with you 100%. After I read your comment, I was like "yeah that's right!" I could totally relate to what they were talking about and Chef Sheldon with his laid back local style was perfect. It's like watching two braddahs talk story about small kid days. Nothing pretentious there.
Mika Morii the host is also and amazing chef he has been on top chef twice and is a favorite to win this season
My family and I ended up going to Senia on our trip to Hawaii based off of this video, and it was absolutely incredible. The wagyu short rib was the best piece of meat I’ve ever had.
eater's really loving hawaii right now
What's not to love?
Yo Sheldon! Good to see you doin' your ish! You rep Hawaii & your family well. See up the good work bruh!
Dat charred cabbage is incredible. So happy Senia is now open.
Just booked! So psyched! Thanks for making creating the itinerary for my trip that much easier (and tastier)!
Amazing looking food. Congratz to the chefs.
Love how Sheldon is prepping onions while the guest talks
Well done video. This gives much inspiration to an aspiring chef.
2:51 wow the host cuts that onion up quickly
Not everyone can go eat there, but it definitely looks damn good haha

I have to say I don't like the host. He is not funny or interesting and doesn't seem that knowledgable.
Funny thing is he is a chef just not a tv personality. No talk about malliard reactions and being verbose like the other dude. Good thing is this guy doesn't says dumb shit.
lots of hosts are chefs. this guy should just stick to cooking.
khong khing - If you were from Hawaii you could relate to this video and how Chef Sheldon is. It's a local Hawaii thing.
Tama Toa amen!
khong khing I think because he's new to hosting. The newer videos you can see he's improved a lot. He puts more of his personality in them and he's hilarious.
