The DNR is impressively improved and the usb port now supports a mouse, even wireless. This is a very good transceiver! Thank you for an informative video.

Yes, always get the best if you can afford it and avoid buyers regret. $400 is better than deciding to upgrade later when the price may have gone up, the extra goodies are nice to have or may be the difference between the contact or not. Also the increased aesthetics will increase the pleasure of your operation.

Thank for the run through. BTW, the sounds at 5-10-15mhz etc are the atomic clock transmissions for auto-setting clocks to receive. It’s called WWV.

Logitech M310 mouse works very well on this rig. The 710 is the best value out there.
The 10 and 25 mhz frequencies are not beacons, they are the WWV time and frequency standard signals. Its also on 5 and 15 mhz.
