  • BMW 2 Series 2015 - BEST Coupe Size! 218d M Sport | In Depth Review
    In my opinion, I think the BMW 2 Series is the best coupe size! not too big and not too small. This BMW 2 Series is a 2015 model and is a 218d M Sport. This BMW 2 series is pretty much the same size as a BMW 3 series E46 which is about 15-20 years old, which I believe is the right coupe size. However today, all cars are getting bigger and bigger and are losing that coupe feel and this is why I feel this is the best coupe size! Especially because it handles really well being 50:50 weight. I hope you enjoy this in depth review of this BMW 2 Series Coupe!
    Please let me know your thoughts on this BMW 2 Series 218d and if you think it is the best coupe size?

    Hoping to get a 2 series as my second car. Not too big of a car but got a bit of punch. It's hard being a petrol head and only being a new driver, insurance is crazy 😂

      I feel that 😂 First car has just died on me so I’m using this as an excuse to upgrade to my first sports car, and I see this as one. I’d have to go Petrol though. But yeah, the insurance is absurd.

    What are the engines like on this ? Reliable ? I'm asking the question coming from a 120d e82 2010 owner with an n47 engine (timing chain) usually oil filter and service the car every 7-8k miles

    The curves and the compact sports coupe size, which are unfortunately losing their form in most modern cars today.

    I tend to disagree. For me the only point of getting a Coupe is that the car looks aesthetic, luxurious and elegant. The 6 series does the job. Even the 4 series is good. But this one doesn´t.
    It may be fun to drive, but other little cars are also fun to drive. The worst thing is that these little coupes are not even significantly cheaper than a 4 series.

    • @BobbyDrives
      @BobbyDrives  8 місяців тому +2

      Fair comment and points. I think what I like about this 2 series coupe, it reminds me of my old e46 M3, which is about the same size. But my 640d does look the part and is a real coupe as you said 😉

      Did you figure it out?

    • @freedom14639
      @freedom14639 Рік тому +1

      @@michelb2754 yeah. I had to go through the back seats.
      I bought a thin metal rod from b&q.
      Took the bolts out of the sides of the back seats to give the seats some play. Used a grow bar to wedge apart the little gap in the back seat. Then used a torch held in my mouth and used the rod to prize the seat release catch open by pushing it forward to release the seat.
      Then dropped the seats and climb in the boot. Then go to lock on the back and behind the cloth cover, the lock, there's a little switched. Push it right with a screw driver to release the lock and boot opens. Then I replace the lock with a new from ebay.
