I got the 220d convertible, great car. For me one of the most beautifull bmw’s ever
The 2-Series from this generation is an excellent blend of performance, poise and playfulness.
I love my 218i SE. I wish i had nicer seats and maybe will upgrade them. Also upgrading head unit to android one is a MUST!
We assume that seat upgrades from, say, the M-Sport trim should be easy to achieve? Does the Android Head Unit still allow full iDrive functionality?

Have one my self, same color and similar spec, 218d. Pretty fun only complaint is the auto gearbox, a little bit boring specially since it doesn’t have paddle shifters, but overall a great fun little car imo

I recently purchased a 218d too and I have to say my first taste of BMW is a good one I love this car but I'd agree the auto gearbox without the paddles is a minor gripe but I can live with it, coming from a Mk7 GTI I'd say my golf overall was a better car but the fuel was atrocious on it but the beemer is fantastic for mpg
Great review but I actually wanted to know how the SE handles/ride comfort/handles bumps.
It's pretty good. The smaller alloys on this versus the M-Sport make it more relatively comfortable. Damping was good, and suspension not too firm. Body controlled well, and actually relatively fun too.

It's a great little car - the newest generation of 2-series coupe does drive just as well, but it isn't as pretty to look at! 🤣
