This woman is simply sensational. No one can tell me that there's anyone else out there who delivers live consistently like Floor.
Oh Floor ❤ my girlcrush. She's truely so special, what a woman and what a voice. My mama died suddenly when my daughter was 6 weeks old. It was a busy and weird time, I didn't want to grieve but be happy with my newborn. So I pushed it away. 11 years later, I watched Beste zangers and saw Floor sing this song. I couldn't stop crying, it's so beautiful and true. I called my mother also every day when she was still here and I would had given almost everything to talk to her about my own daughter. But live goes on, we all have to deal with things like that in our life isn't it. I'm a happy person and this song is one of my favorite on my playlist. Thank you for reacting on this wonderful woman and song ❤
My mom died for over 35 ys as i was a teenager and i must cry during this song and again after reading your comment! Really a wonderful Interpretation of this song! Stay well

Whole show was amazing. Floor killed every song there. And it was so nice to see those people to enjoy every night, not competing, not getting views, votes etc... just making friends.

The blond woman is Samantha Steenwijk, she sang this original. She did some excellent performances in this show, you might wanna look her up. She was singing in front of 200 ppl just a few years ago and she has an amazing voice for real... or legitimatly as you would say. ;)

What I also love about Floor's version, is that she is from the same region in the Netherlands as me, the South. And we speak with a "soft G" instead of the typical hard Dutch G (the throaty CHRRRR 😄) that you usually hear. In English you don't hear that, but when Floor speaks Dutch, or sings Dutch in this case, I can hear it and it sounds like home ☺️
Be sure to check out Samantha’s (the woman in red) performance of the Nightwish song Decades In The Sun, which basically also a song about mothers (and fathers). She hit that one out of the ballpark. She and Tim were the only ones brave enough to tackle a Nightwish song, only one upped by Emma Heesters who did a After Forever song which was a song Floor wrote herself.
How nice would it be would Floor would do this song with Nightwish in one of their concerts? I guess the roof would go off..... such a delicate but also powerfull song.
