Saw them backing up Green Day in the summer of 2009. Hartford, Connecticut with my two kids. It was my son's first concert (age 10) and after their set, The Bravery sat two sections over to await Green Day's set. My son just walked up to them to compliment them on their set. They gave him a guitar pick and thanked him for coming. Fathers remember stuff like that forever. Thank you, gentlemen.
I remember watching a talk show here in Australia called ‘Rove Live’. They closed the episode by singing this song. I was blown away, it was the first time I heard of them . The next day I went straight to the music shop and purchased their album, it was an absolute gem! Those early 2000’s produced so many good and underrated bands! Great era of music and in my view we got The Strokes to thank for this, specially when they hit the scene in 01/02..
Same dude. Right now i'm making music inspired on that tunes i knew watching mtv 10 years ago. My band is called "Delfines Entrenados Para Matar" you can check us
My dog passed away after 14 year saw my son grow I used think the song said "that why they love you chico" r.i.p chicolico my little homie the song say that why the love let you go
Man it was 10yrs ago I had this album. The top 10 perfect albums I ve heard. All good songs. Damm Sam Endicott. I had fun at the two concerts I saw them at the two different concerts I saw them at
Amazing Debut. For those that know, ( and those that obviously don't) album came out same time as The Killers. Same area. ( Vegas ) The rest is history. This is as close to U2/INXS or other debates when it comes to bands. Genres that existed. Now it's nothing. It's all Pop. Don't @ me. Go watch Swift.
This is mad. I'm here so many years after discovering these guys. I had their album on loop! What brings me back is remembering their An Honest Mistake video and the Rube Goldberg element in the video. I'm teaching Machines to a class of 6 - 8 year olds and REALLY wish I could show them that video. Suffice to say, I'm down the Bravery rabbit hole on UA-cam instead of prepping.
I can't believe i just started to listen to the bravery. their first song i listened to was an honest mistake in mvp baseball way back in 2006. They need to reunite and release a good 5 albums before they should consider quitting.
To be perfectly honest, I hardly remember anything about The Bravery, or their music, except this video. I remember when it came out because one of the coolest music videos I've ever seen.
"This song is named 'Fearless'" "Okay" "And I feel like the film clip should impart that message" "Okay" "I think the best way we can impart that message is by having every one of the band members play their instruments on the bow of high-powered motorboats that are moving at ludicrous speed with oil refineries in the background" "Okay"
I remember hearing this song at an American Eagle store sometime around 2005-2006. I was able to find out the band by looking for the playlists they use at the store on the internet.I thought they were Good Charlotte that did a complete 360 on their sound.
Filmed on and in LA Harbor San Pedro Bay. All the way on the South end of the 110. Aka Palos Verdes Peninsula. You can see Vincent Thomas Bridge a few times as well as Point Fermin. This was not filmed on the East coast.
God they were ahead of their time. I wish they were still around, absolutely love their music ♥️
I don't think they were a head of there time, to me this screams early 2000s. Only thing I'm mad about is I never saw them live 😔.
@@benn255b3 They were ahead of their time there. They feared less of Covid 19 there after predicting it LOL.
Destemido

Holy shit, I was at that concert too! I had just discovered them as a band, and had no idea they were opening. It blew me away.
God... the Webster sucks
That's incredibly wholesome and heartwarming! ☺
Omg, that is so precious. What a wonderful memory. ♥️
Pretty sure the kid appreciated it more. #rents
This is the kind of bands that are so underated but that they are good as hell.
not really, they made it big before, many bands still trail in their footsteps
Rock is dead...

@@sebastianhernandez-ej7ql No, your brain is!
The Bravery and The Music are probably the most underrated bands of the 00's
They remind me of the band “The Pistolas” they were underrated compared to these guys!
FACTS
they share same feat; they have only one great album sadly.
The Music were hilariously pathetic
@@TheMusicalElitist Yeah? well... you know that's just like... ahh... your opinion, man.
still one of the best music videos on the planet.
+totallycoolboy not like newer music videos are getting any better... lol
videos should get better but the quality of music still leaves much to be desired
Agree.
I thought it was so cool as a kid and now im grown up and a musician I can see the level of discomfort they are dealing with lol.
"And I know thats why you love me chika"!!!😎😎😎 I always thought that was just badass!!!
Duran Duran, Elvis, New Order, The Ramones, Sisters of Mercy and The Cure made a baby together... And it's beautiful! ❤️
Why they aren't famous?
This is one of the best songs I even hear.
Props to the originality of the music video.
The Bravery always made the best videos, but their music will always be unforgettable

This has gotta be the best music video I've ever seen. It doesn't get much more epic than this...
The way you all blended the 70s-2000s was amazing! Y’all were better than all the mainstream stuff from those times.
Remember watching this in the summer of 2005 at 2am on MTV. I was 12 and about to go into 6th grade. Dam I'm getting old lol
