First heard this song 10 years ago after watching the first "Never Back Down". Everything about that movie was amazing, and I loved how they used this song as the end song, putting a great close to the struggles of the protagonist's journey and those around him. When his mentor/coach drew down the shutter as a symbol of him moving on, and this song phased out, that moment was just so beautiful. I have been in love with this song ever since.

I was a sophomore at Davis and Elkins college in 1994. I had the best time there. Great professors great friends, I was super happy there. This song reminds me of that but I wish I can go back to that college year and make things even better. It sucks I can't go back but if I could I would go back. 😊

Ever since my hallmate in college handed me their debut album during a shopping trip between midterms, they quickly became my all-time favorite band, and songs like this one, became my musical medicine in tough times. I was lucky enough to see them in concert twice in Detroit and Grand Rapids, and their $15 tickets for three openers and a full two-hour set of both albums at the time, set the bar for how much concerts should be. They will always be in my heart as well, and I'll cherish the memories of falling in love with music in the best way possible.

Never forget back in the days... first time watching "Never Back Down" with some friends... The year this song came out is a reminder to me of how better things would be today if only I hadn't lost touch with certain people just because I was too lazy to call them on phone. Soon days became weeks, weeks became years and now it is at a point that if I walked past those people they'd hardly remember me but I still remember those people because I think about them every day. Time is the greatest teacher humans have it is the kind of teacher that never gives you a second chance if you mess up, yet it teaches you essentials so you do not find yourself in the same spot years later.

I had just turned 18 and graduated the year this movie came out and it has held a very special place in my heart ever since ... good times back then ... even remember being with my ex at her friends house when she had just picked it up on DVD ... life just hasn't been the same ever since
Hell yeah as a kid i thought never back down was one of the coolest movies. I like this song though, it caught my attention esp cause i like playing guitar now.

The year this song came out is a reminder to me of how better things would be today if only I hadn't lost touch with certain people just because I was too lazy to call them on phone. Soon days became weeks, weeks became years and now it is at a point that if I walked past those people they'd hardly remember me but I still remember those people because I think about them every day. Time is the greatest teacher humans have it is the kind of teacher that never gives you a second chance if you mess up, yet it teaches you essentials so you do not find yourself in the same spot years later.

This reminds me of that group of friends who hung out before and after classes and watched random movies, including Never Back Down, watching MMA (2006-2008). Since then, going through countless college memories, getting married and having two beautiful kids, this song is just as good to listen to.
Nostalgia will always be like a famous show on tv with every new episode bringing a different kind of emotion tied to lost memories. And every New Season with every 5 years that pass your life.

I heard this song more than a decade ago in Never back down. Since then i have been listening to this everyday. Me and my best frnd both watched this movie together several times and decided about our future goals. He decided to become rich in future and i decided to have decent body with six pack abs and after a decade both of us achieved what we dreamt together 😁
I first saw Never Back Down in 2010. Loved it, and it has been more than a decade since I last saw it. But this song, at the ending scene, I remember and hum and whistle its dune to frequently, ba bab bab ba ba bab bab ba, even though I never even knew its title until today when I searched "never back down ending scene".
