    I am soooooooooo glad I found this channel!! I am a 41 year old undiagnosed (self diagnosed, unfortunately) I am POSITIVE I'm an asper girl. I can relate to every single thing you'se all say. (You'se is Nova Scotia slang for you guys. 😉) I joined the site!! 😊❤ So far all awesome!! Thank you soooooooooo much!! Gonna show my husband these.

    Thank you guys! I was assuming that the mother is also on the spectrum or in defense mode... I'm (25) on the spectrum, too and I still struggle a lot in the relationship with my parents. I wasn't diagnosed as a child. I see ASD traits in them. I don't know if that's true, but it would make a lot of sense. So from my side: I have no other choice than being as far away as possible from them, to be able to come back for a while. I grew up in a small village and I think there's a lot of ASD going on there haha. I struggle with life in the "outside" world, but I'm trying to not give up, since I realized that I'm on the spectrum and know where to get help.

    Yep. That meltdown is my 22 year old daughter. I did her laundry for her one day and OMG did I ever get into trouble for that, holy crap it was BIG!! I thought I was helping her knowing she had been busy. I didn't think Jaws was coming to get me after that😈. Never again
