    180kw and 370Nm propels this car from 0-100kmh in 6,6 seconds. It has all the safety kit you could want, a cool, but practical interior and an awsome exterior.

    Great no nonsense review and had all the specs and details. Plenty of features displayed and informed you what is true,, navigation is not worth the extra money since I use my Apple phone plugged in to my 2.0 liter Octavia, works perfectly well. I am upgrading to VRS end of June after viewing many reviews like this. Thank You For The Review!

    Thanks for the video. I've just ordered the vRS245 black pack. The only options I I specified are the black paint and the adaptive cruise.

    Got this car and colour, but the wagon version. I love it! I have the last update before the 4th gen, with virtual cockpit and updated infotainment. The best version IMHO.
    Same trick diff as the Golf GTi PERFORMANCE, not the standard GTi.

    This thing needs AWD and a set of new rims.

      AWD yes, the rims in person are stellar.

    No such thing as an electric boot in the sedan version I'm afraid, only the station wagon has that option.

    As usual, very good video! What do you think about the dsg? Is it better than the manual?

    • @SilverhillDrives
      @SilverhillDrives  6 років тому +2

      For this car - jes, DSG all the way. It just makes sense for a car like this. For a GTI maybe i would go for the manual. If you want your RS to have any residual value at the end of ownership, DSG is the way to go. Manuals drop ther price like crasy.

    • @dimsoneill
      @dimsoneill 2 роки тому

      Go the DSG 7-speed, it's pretty awesome.

    2 questions. What about the real fuel consumption and also the 4x4 how much back and forward divide the traction in this new model ?? Thanks

      It's FWD and real-world I'm averaging around 8 L/100km.

    Mate, 2 questions - what is the name of the color on this car(steel grey or brilliant grey metalic). How does the difference feel between comport and sport mode on DCC suspension?

    • @SilverhillDrives
      @SilverhillDrives  6 років тому

      The colour is Steel grey and yes, it would be my pick of the bunch :) The difference for the suspension is there, but not that noticeable really... can't say it was an uncomfortable car in any way at any setting, the steering feel gets harder in Sport and that you notice more in my opinion.

      The colour is Meteor Grey, looks awesome in the metal, doesn't come across as well on video. I brought the wagon version of this car, and it's brilliant.

      Try the FWD, it's mad fun with that trick diff. Pulls you around and out of corners, brilliant. Good enough for the GTi performance, good enough for you!

      Well, it was around 10 l/100km for me - but i drove it enthusiastically most of the time i had it, so definetaly could get a better resoult.

    I have this car on my shortlist. with the Kia optima Gt as contender for my new car. thing i really dislike about the Skoda is the wheels and plastic interior. i find the rims so horrible, so that alone is 1000 euro minimum extra for decent rims. You get cooling in the seats in Optima, Cooled glove department in the skoda, more safety features in the optima( also included without extra costs like in the skoda), But slightly higher fuel economy and price. The optima has better crash scores, bigger boot, better guarantee ( 7 years or 150.000 km) Skoda has more power, easier to tune due to being a golf gti engine. I'm still unsure, i Know in 2020 the new Version of Skoda Octavia comes. i might hold off 2 years, Dunno.

    • @dimsoneill
      @dimsoneill 2 роки тому

      I have driven both and I brought the Skoda. Hands down a better car all around. Drive both and you will see what I mean. The Interior in the Kia was not up to standard, cheap-looking and boring.

    Is it too stiff with 19inch tyres?

    • @SilverhillDrives
      @SilverhillDrives  6 років тому

      The regular RS i drove had 18-s, i really could not tell the difference. The RS is not too stiff for my liking in any alloy size - like the 19s, get them!

    • @dimsoneill
      @dimsoneill 2 роки тому

      The 19s with ACC means you get the best of both worlds. Comfort mode with the 19s is plush.
