We had a great time having Ash Coyote at our cozy convention, enjoying a little bit of the Brazilian furry fandom. We can't express how grateful we are to be featured in a film in such a nice way! Thank you, Ash and crew for the great job and for spending sometime here in Brazil. It was very special!
When I went to this edition of BFF and met Ash Coyote in person, I realized how kind and caring she is. Now watching the documentary about my country, I felt very represented. I could see her and the team's effort to show our culture and diversity, both in Brazilian fandom and in our entire country. Thank you for highlighting my statuette that was auctioned for charity, and for my friends and I appearing in the video. Not only me, but also other viewers look forward to other projects like this 🇧🇷❤🐾
It makes me so unbelievably happy to read this. I'm thrilled to hear that you enjoyed it so much and I look forward to coming back down to hang out with everyone again
I'm so happy to see my community, my culture, people that I personally know being shown in such a good way by such a big UA-camr and influencer in the furry fandom... It literally made me cry lol 🥹🥹🥹
The uncanny twin movements between you and Kage at 47:03 were incredible lmao Great job on this - it's so inspiring to see the fandom's growth outside of the cultural bubble a lot of us in the US a ton of us are used to. I'd love to make it out to BFF one of these years!
I've read that Brazil is very trans positive country that so far have elected two trans members of congress! I'm curious if you're going to have anything on that in this video or an upcoming one. Love the channel btw. From one yote to another :P
Aghhh this was so good!! It was so nice to watch a documentary about our corner of the community. Seeing people i know personally in the fandom be featured and the "inner workings" of BFF was really indescribable :] Would be great if this had captions in portuguese though :0 I would be happy to caption it if you'd like!
One year waiting for this doc and it turned out SO amazing!!!! Very emotional, very insightful! As someone who was off the fandom for some years and just getting back, this video felt like a warm hug, something Ive been missing and didn't know 🥹 I really, reaaaally loved it! Thank you Ash for portraying our beautiful fandom so sweetly 💜
I am so happy to hear that! It was such an incredible experience seeing the fandom outside of the US. Not to mention the shear beauty of Brazil! I look forward to going back
7:32 Danny's phrase about being alone is quite common in Brazilian furry fandom. Sometimes there are fights, arguments, people who don't usually have the right attitudes, but the important thing is to be with the nice people in the community. In Brazil, it's more difficult to acquire a fursuit, but the fursona as a whole is already a reality in many Telegram groups and Discord servers about furries.
I really enjoyed watching this for the behind the scenes look at furry cons and the little snippet of Brazillian (and Brazil furry) history! Lovely doc!
This is such an interesting watch from a brazilian person who basically knows nothing about the little presence the fandom has in my country. From what little research I'd done on it before it really seems like it's mostly just present in small conventions and meetings in São Paulo, trust me the average brazilian person has never even heard of furries, furry fandom activities are basically non existant outside of niche online spaces, and as someone who only interacts with this fandom online, with mostly americans, this is all new to me too. As much as I hope one day I'll get to meet some of these amazing people, reality is living in Brazil is harsh, all most furs can do is dream, the few ones who live near these big cities and/or have the money to spare are lucky. The actual filmed scenes of this convention were... Surreal to watch, like a completely different side of a world I live in... Thank you so much for making this, to Ash, Ash, and everyone else involved, it's an amazing insight into a small side of the fandom, in such a big country, I wish most brazilian furs had the chance to experience this. This felt special. Side note: all those furs speaking english probably comes from just being on the internet too much, the average brazilian doesn't speak it at all. Side side note: this kinda made me feel more comfortable with my accent.
I am really glad you enjoyed the episode and were able to experience these spaces. Its beautiful to see the community all around the world. I hope to see more of Brazil someday!
Ash, please feel welcome to visit Brasil whenever you'd like :)) thank you so much for joining last year's con, we're all expecting the next one to be even better!! Hugs and kisses from Brasil!!!!
Haha, visite as favelas do Rio de Janeiro para acabar logo com esta falta de obrigação moral ❤ Triste ver que tivemos grandes pessoas lutando por nós em guerras, apenas para sair seres como você. O que a falta de uma figura paterna não faz...
I'm so excited about this bc I have family in Brazil and I want to go visit them, this video will give me an idea of how friendly Brazil is as a country and I'm super excited bc learning stuff is dope and I know this will be an awesome video documentary!
This episode was really cute. I just got home from a furry con (Confuzzled) a week ago and hearing about how lovely the Brazilian community is and hearing the relatable experience of "we're all weird already" was really heartwarming. Also what a cool idea to let parents come free. Like wow, what a way to build community.
Loved interacting with you Ash. Thank you so much for taking the time to invite me and my S/O to your rooms to do that interview regardless, it was very sweet of you (and of course to this day thank you to Chip for giving Rayzr that medicine for his headache) I hope you had a great time here, Brazil is further to travel than usual so you might not have gotten the chance to visit here outside of BFF. I'm working on visiting the US cons myself, so maybe we'll bump into each other there!
Brasil looks beautiful and wow the people you showed in this video are very wholesome and left a good impression on me. I love the positivity towards diversity. That's very welcome to see.
That was a good documentary. It is interesting to see how they ran the con and the culture as well as the history of the area and country. A small comment. Take it as you will because I know you have a vision of what you want to present. As a fur, I would like to have seen more con footage with events, people, and fursuiters because I want to see them and how they are similar to and differ from US furs. In short, I want to learn more of the Brazilian fur culture.

I love brasil for it's culture, it's people, it's language, it's wildlife and plant life, it's awesome to get a look at the fandom in brasil, thank you for giving us this opportunity to take a look.
Aqui é Brasil, caralho!!! I'm really happy to see my country being represented, it's hard to find other furries over here specially where I live so learning about the presence of the fandom here is really cool! Hope that you enjoyed your time here in Brazil!
Ash, you've really given us a gift. Well done indeed. I've always had a soft spot in my heart for Brazil. This is such an awesome production they've created. Wish I was there. The energy of a furcon is so contagious. Reminded me of the early years of Furry Fiesta in Texas. I'm 72 and don't for see many more conventions as, well life can be demanding, and I actually just have not been so comfortable in the larger cons. The most wonderful message is across so many levels people can tear down stereotypes and when we give them a chance we often find if we strip away the fear s, people can be awesome. There are so many things we might think keep us apart that are simply not be as important as the beat of our hearts. Thanks to all who shared their hearts with us all.🦌🦌🦌
Few questions, as I'm just getting comfy in the fandom. 1. How do yall draw so good?!?! I can't draw to save my life, and Im too poor to commission :,). 2. Are fursonas supposed to be this difficult to create? I've been struggling with creating mine for like a week or two now, lol. 3. How do I make good furry content on youtube? I have a few thousand views but it's difficult with the competition. Thank you!!

As a Brazilian (living in Rio) I honestly don't know LOL we are kinda used to the heat but we do take precautions. But sometimes it is way too hot to fursuit for long, we just put it in to take pics and that's it

We do talk a bit about that in this video!
There is a beautiful gay trans movement in Brazil... but there is also a serious backlash from evangelical politicians. I hope the gay win this...
I don't know about that, knowing the fact that Brazil has the high rate of murder of trans people.
