As someone watching this from outside this community… Ngl kinda weird but man I commend these people for finding light in this crappy world. They unapologetically carved out their slice of paradise and let go of shame…I truly envy that. I think this is a lessons that if it ain’t hurting nobody, you should always do what makes you whole and happy, no matter what others think. Nowadays we are too wrapped up in other people’s perception of us and too hostile to things we don’t understand. Thank you pool furries, today you have opened my mind a little and have broken a barrier holding me back in my own life. Never thought it would be the furry community of all people to do this.

This community sounds like a microcosm of the fandom as a whole. They even had to give the speech about calling it a kink being reductive. It's got the community and belonging and expression. It sounds lovely. That story at the end very much had me tearing up.

The Interviewer’s and interviewees seems so sweet. I’ve been apart of the fandom since 2017 and only knew small bits of this side of it. I brushed it off as another sexual part of the fandom I simply wasn’t interested in but now I see it’s so much more and I appreciate this documentary for showing me that. I am glad these people have found something that helps them through such tough things. For me it’s plushies so I understand

I haven’t finished this video yet but I feel the furry fandom in general lends itself to different forms of coping and expressing oneself. Even fursuiting lends itself to escaping from our reality and being an cartoony animal similar to cosplaying does to characters in stories. And it makes me so happy to see it embrace other parts. I also relate as someone who’s part of something that others might seem as a “weird fetish” but for me isn’t even close to that. This story also reminds me of a pink and purple princess bouncy castle I had growing up. I lived with my grandparents due to some issues so they spoiled me and I started tearing up while watching this because I remember the joy from being able to have friends and invite them to a bouncy castle.

Probably just the look. Like how some people find fursuits creepy.
I mean, my first experience with someone in the inflatable community was them sending some clear fetish work in a 13+ server. And when I mean clear I don't mean, "the character was an inflatable so it's immediately art made for pleasure." I mean... One inflatable furry shooting another inflatable furry with a taser or something, and the one tazed looked dazed and distressed, and the person who uploaded it said, "Ooughh wish that was me." Not appropriate for the server it was in is all I'm saying.
But this video helped me understand this part of the community more.

    Those numbers they‘re quoting-definitely inflated!
    😋
Not _my_ niche of the fandom, but it‘s fun seeing others have fun, and it was nice learning a bit more about that subgroup.

This is super cool! It was interesting to have some of the extra background knowledge from watching another recently released fandom documentary about the inflatables community too. Also have to agree with the fact that the inflatable designs are pretty cute looking. Making me give serious thought to adding some kind of inflated blendshape to a 3D digital avatar model should I ever get to the point that I actually make one and release it. (I'm working on my blender skills. Not there yet though.)

I never would've guessed in a million years that there was a fandom for inflatables
