    How do you get that Sub Buddy app full screen on your computer? Even on my 10 inch tablet it's size is so-so. Considering I have a spare screen twice as large if I could get Android app to show on it. Is that a Android/iOS app emulator I don't know about?

    Nice demo, it's well explained. Too bad you broke everything with your last circle : first you did not place it well relative to the previous one, but you also forgot to compute the actual radius. You used the odometer value directly, which completely offset your last trajectory. I tried to correct it on your last screen and got about 45 m of error in the end (and even 30 m by taking into account your inaccurate first marker). ;]

      Hmm, I'll check that out. 😁

      Yep, looks like your right. Two turns in a row is tricky. I thought 172 m was pretty good! If your really good, you could make the turns in this video and plot them and see where you come out. Challenge issued!

      @@Wolfpack-eo4hh Hehe, I'm already ahead of you. I actually tried it this afternoon and got 19m. ;p

    2:33 I dont understand "Sub Buddy" tool, it says to match the distance (168m) with the angle made by the turn (45°) but this guy matches 168m with 65°........ o.0 what is it that im not getting?

    • @Fennyella
      @Fennyella Рік тому

      He doesn't though.
      He matches 168 on the white radial "Distance [Meters]" exactly with 45° on the blue radial.
      You then read the number underneath the small red pointer/line to see the radius you have to draw your circle at.

    How do you draw a circle like that? When I try to draw a circle the center is where I clicked first and I'm just adjusting radius. In your video after you clicked, you place the edge of the circle where you clicked and move center point with your mouse.

    Possible tutorial without that sub buddy?

      I put the formula in the video so you can just use that to calculate turn radius with a calculator. Everything else is still the same.

      @@Wolfpack-eo4hh If you use the formula on the second turn I get 57.3 x 246/105=134.

      Were did I mess up at? You were on a course of 45 to 300 port turn. That's a 105 degree turn.

      @@rickyray4111 You did not mess up, in the video they align the 105 degree marker with roughly 235 meters. It should have been a turn for 134 meters.
