He doesn't though. He matches 168 on the white radial "Distance [Meters]" exactly with 45° on the blue radial. You then read the number underneath the small red pointer/line to see the radius you have to draw your circle at.

Check the reverse protractor.

It's not so hard if you get close to the targets. The real trick is how to get close to them.

I put the formula in the video so you can just use that to calculate turn radius with a calculator. Everything else is still the same.

Were did I mess up at? You were on a course of 45 to 300 port turn. That's a 105 degree turn.

@@rickyray4111 You did not mess up, in the video they align the 105 degree marker with roughly 235 meters. It should have been a turn for 134 meters.

There is a way to tell how far away from the escorts path you are. I will make a video about this soon. That way you can get close with out being detected.

Yes, I would really like that. There is also some problems with how youtube compresses files. This leads to video at night being blocky and banding in the sky. If you have any idea how to fix this please let me know. I have looked everywhere.

Yes, that is strange. Wolfpack is an early access game so they are still working things out. They seem to be making good progress now and the game is definitely playable. If you like subsims, it's a must have.

I'm planning on doing a full mission video uncut, but it takes a long time to make a ten minute video, so to do a full 3 hours is quite daunting. I do have some good footage, so stay tuned.

The escorts in 0.25 version are relentless. If you play on a shallow bottom map, you better know how to avoid them or you and your crew are fish food.

@@Wolfpack-eo4hh no, no. I mean that in its purest form. I am not competent enough to understand the concept of the attack disc. All I see is something probably useful in the wrong hands. In this case mine.

If you can get a head on shot, it may be your best choice. You can also use rear torpedo tubes. Fire and dive away is a good plan too.

Yep, looks like your right. Two turns in a row is tricky. I thought 172 m was pretty good! If your really good, you could make the turns in this video and plot them and see where you come out. Challenge issued!

Some players have complained of sea sickness. The water is looking good, but there are more improvements coming soon. As you mentioned they need wakes, foam, and sea spray. The attack disc was added in the beta version 0.25. You're probably on the standard version 0.24c. The beta version is much better but maybe less stable. To install the beta version: open steam. Select library in top left. Right click on Wolfpack in your games list. Select Properties. Select betas from the right column. Select beta-beta in the dropdown menu. No code is needed to install he beta. Simply close the window and the beta will begin to download. . Now you will see the attack disc menu next to the distance table when you are playing. Good Luck! To go back to the regular version simply set dropdown menu back to none

I play regularly and can almost always find a game. First off, you can play the game solo. The video above was shot when I was playing by myself. Secondly, if you look on the official discord, you can find experienced players who will play with you and show you the ropes. Third, groups of players have formed flotillas, which are like squads, where you can also find regular games. Fourth, the game is still in beta, they just released a beta - beta v.025e. This has split the player base, some are on v.24 some on v.25 so it looks like there are fewer players. When they come back to one version, finding players will be easier. I usually start the game with bots and then crew join in as I play. In short, the game is being developed and not finished, so early access buying rules apply, but I bought in and have enjoyed it immensely.
