We used to call artists such as Nik Kershaw teenyboppers back in the day. So unfair in this regard. Such an accomplished artist , so unique , can't compare him to anyone else. Brilliant songwriter and musician - those 1st 3 albums , wore them out back in the eighties. He's made great music ever since too. Remember watching this concert on TV .... think it was a new years eve. Superb , thank you. 👍
This was the first concert I went to as a sixteen year old. Nik was and had been a huge influence on my life. Just seeing this again takes me back some 36 years to some really great memories, and the music of this time was and is the best
Oh my God, this was the first gig I ever went to at Ipswich Gaumont, what a huge influence Nik's music has on my life going forward. I don't know another musician who had such an important influence on my life....his music is amazing and timeless
Remember this so well. Went with a girlfriend the wonderful Trez P and though we didn't last she did pass on an appreciation of Mr Kershaw....a lovely time in life...and musically he holds up brilliantly.
Wow, Nik and the band sounded amazing then. Much better than the Ritz NY concert someone uploaded ... although that mix was terrible, you can see he and the group are really at home with the crowd. The band is SUPER tight for playing those types of arrangements in 1984.
Bogart-a time for a mike stand... Elbows together don't work visually....Why am I talking to the the past anyway? My sincerest apologies....Today you are still the Best Songwriter and Entertainer for me.... I was totally "broken" from 89 to 99....Thank you fro coming back stronger than ever...This is History...How you won my attention. CJ

Can he get anymore adorable???? Still is!! The music is just an added bonus.
As a 20 years old, when I listen to Nik sometimes I wish I was alive back then so I could see him perform with my eyes...
He's still performing.
He still gives concerts. 😊

Nik is a legend 80s best freakin dude!
9:24 opening of Bogart gives me goosebumps everytime... the Synth and guitar riffs
Great stuff, a blast from the past! Man I miss the 80's!
Interesting how the 80's artists have more staying power and can still fill venues.

Is this the gig they used footage for the Won't Let the Sun Go Down on Me video?
Too reverberant from the show recording, but great as always.....
Where can I get a copy of this?
What year was this?
Do not recognize that guitar....
