The fact that this movie is direct to streaming in its home country the UK says it all...the second movie this year where Henry Cavill is barely in it even though he's the marketing.
i’m 90% sure Hollywood has a vendetta against Henry Cavill, like they always seem to do subtle things to set him up to fail or just flat-out screw him over. Like Games Workshop just changed a piece of lore in Warhammer conveniently before Cavill starts work on his Warhammer show (and this faction that was changed happens to be Cavill’s personal favorite).

Yeah sorry a correction I swear I saw it advertised in the cinema here. Turns out this is only getting an American release and the rest of the world will only get it on streaming at some later date
I haven't liked a Guy Richie movie since _Snatch,_ they've all just kinda been regurgitating the same schtick with an uneven story and pace. At their worse they're too commercial and glossy. His first two films though... so gritty, witty, and cool.
The body count in this movie is crazy! It was a fun watch. I thought Eiza Gonzalez did an excellent job. I'm looking forward to Challengers! Did you get to see an early screening? I'm eager to hear your review :)
Thanks for the review Chris. I thougth the Gentlemen was so well done it would be hard to follow up with another banger. I guessed 3.5 couches beforehand and was pleasantly confirmed. Movie upcoming I'm interested in > Cuckoo.
The Commandos killed the Nazis way too easily. In reality the German army was the deadliest in the war. The guy who shot the arrows never missed, and those Germans he hit died immediately. In reality it would be very, very different. The motley crew of heroes shoot the Germans with sten guns, a weapon that was notoriously unreliable and regularly jammed. They used silencers, but silencers are not completely quiet and you would hear the clicking sounds. It just went way too easy, way too smooth. In addition, I doubt that the Germans would be so friendly with the Africans, since they were notoriously racist.
I'm jealous you got to see this. Who knows when we will get this in the UK as always great review dude.
