That sounds really good as well. This was always one of those meals I tried to make as simply as possible as a working mom raising two boys. I needed supper on the table quickly. 😂
I just had an avalanche in my pantry and 2 boxes of stove top fell out. I also have an impressive stock of cream o’somethin soups. Searched for recipes to use them and here you are! Looks great! 👍🏼
Looks amazing making it tonight I am going to put peas, carrots, peaches and cream corn in it why not it looks amazing and Im going to cook mine now thank you look forward to watching more videos☺
It was a little to runny for my preference. I took out a can of milk and added a cup of sour cream. It sits on tbe plate better and tastes wonderful. Try cream of mushroom.
I make this ! Yum ! Also I make one similar. Chicken , theme the soup mix add in frozen veg ( carrot, Gr beans, corn , peas, potatoes) bake until vegetables are almost done, add homemade biscuits and bake until biscuits are done .
@@aprilquickcooking April, Thank you for the comment re the cheese! The poor cook took offense, in a nice way, and I wrote back and apologized as best I could. I watch cook after cook, UA-cam or television, and no one can cook without cheese it seems. She told me to leave it out, and I have. I will eat baked mozzarella on pizza, and that is it. I don't know why! I am SO glad I am not the only one. Thank you! Diane
Thank you for sharing such a wonderful recipe! I have to admit, I did rewind the video 3 times in the very beginning. I wanted to make sure I heard you correctly. You do not look old enough to have a son 25 years old! I would have believed you if you said you were 25! Again, many thanks for the recipe. I will be making both the casserole and the roasted carrots soon.
Thank you so much for your reply! Bless you for saying I don't look old. I sure feel it some days, especially raising a special needs child who is now an adult. I hope you enjoy the recipes.
I'm sorry but there isn't. I was just making these videos for fun during the pandemic and had no idea this one video was going to go as far as it did. I will plan better for future videos and put the written recipe in the comments.
I just watch this recipe and I saved it. I love anything with dressing. And I love rotisserie chicken so this looks absolutely wonderful. Your carrot maple syrup recipe also looks wonderful. I'm a new subscriber and I look forward to watching your recipes! I'm going to be making this recipe, this weekend!😋
I do not have a printable recipe for those. I have now started typing out the recipes in my new videos but this was an older one. I plan to make this again one day and I will able to add the written recipe to that one. Thank you for watching.
I have watched 6 of there in a row, and thank you... this is what my mama made. Everyone else is giving too many weird adds.... didn't ask you to put 20 weird veggies and exotic mushrooms people.
It is actually bigger than the standard 9x13. I can store a 9x13 inside of this pan and have lots of room to spare. I guess I need to actually take measurements before I use it in another video so viewers know what size I’m using. Thank you for watching!! 😊
I did use broth on my stuffing as shown in video. I prefer to use milk to dilute my cream soup. I prefer the creaminess it adds. If you try diluting it with broth, let me know how it turns out.
It can be sometimes depending on how it is cooked. The rotisserie chicken works great if you don't like boiled chicken. I have also cooked chicken in my electric pressure cooker (sauteed with seasonings, then add 1 cup broth, and cook for 5 minutes at high pressure) and then cut it up into small bites. I prefer the texture of cut up chicken in my soups and some of my casseroles as opposed to shredded. Hopefully you will give this a try. Thanks for watching.
I would have taken at least a stick of butter, a cup of chopped celery and a cup chopped onion and sautéed and spread over chicken layer. Looks great.
That sounds really good as well. This was always one of those meals I tried to make as simply as possible as a working mom raising two boys. I needed supper on the table quickly. 😂
Yes I would put it in the stuffing. So you don’t bite it into a layer

I save the chicken carcass too! Makes great soup stock. One chicken can go a long way. 😀
Agreed!
Wow. Your supper sounds & looks amazing. T.Y. for sharing.💜

Finally!! NO cheese!!! Yeah!!! I make this...a little differently, but I make it. I have added egg noodles (cooked) as well, fab!
I know! I never understood putting cheese on this type of casserole.

Made these an your pie recipe for me an my 92 yr old mama. She loved them, had to write down recipes for her.
Thank you so much for sharing! I’m so happy she loved them! This makes my heart happy!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Sweetheart, you cook like I do.!! I dismiss cooks who don’t scrape clean their bowls when adding. ❤️
Right?!? We have to get every last bit of deliciousness out!
My mama always scraped the bowls and cans clean and I do the same thing. It grates my nerves when food is left in the bowls.
Love it.!! Thanks for sharing. 👍
I just found your channel and the chicken casserole looked amazing😊thank you for sharing your recipes❤
Thank you so much!
I appreciate your thorough teaching. ✌️💜💜💜
Thank you. I had some friends who asked me to share a few recipes as they were learning how to cook so I wanted to be thorough for them.
Thank you for sharing such a wonderful recipe!

Ive made the before but I dont do the broth on top. I like a crunch topping, not soft. Just my preference.
Mine gets a little crunchy on top even with the broth but it does all come down to personal preference. Thanks for the comment.
I save my chicken bones an skin too to boil down for stock.
Thank you! I just subscribed
Thank you!
where is a printable recipe for this chicken casserole? also for the carrots as well??
I do not have a printable recipe for those. I have now started typing out the recipes in my new videos but this was an older one. I plan to make this again one day and I will able to add the written recipe to that one. Thank you for watching.
never ever seen stuffing in a can. Wow

great
Thank you!
Yeah, that’s a 9x13 Pyrex style dish! Great recipe though!

Can you freeze leftovers
I'm really not sure as I have never tried it. Your cream soups may change in texture after freezing and the stuffing on top may become very soggy.
Sending suppot
Thank you!
Why wouldn't you use the broth instead of water in the stuffing and to dilute the soup?
Your choice..
I did use broth on my stuffing as shown in video. I prefer to use milk to dilute my cream soup. I prefer the creaminess it adds. If you try diluting it with broth, let me know how it turns out.
Consistency of pudding
I n the oven not boiling you boil the living, heck out of flavor in the oven with seasonings
Yes, you can bake the chicken as well. Just need some shredded, cooked chicken.
I hate boil meat it's so nasty

Just how rude is your family??
Not rude at all! I love my family. Thanks for watching.
