USDA recommends NOT washing chicken. Washing chicken can spread salmonella throughout your kitchen and making it more likely that you will get sick. (Look up "toilet sneeze". washing chicken is similar in that water washing across the chicken sends micro drop of contaminants everywhere.) Just make sure that what you cook reaches 165F. That temp kills salmonella and other pathogens. **
    Here is an easy and flavorful dish that is simple to throw together. I made this thinking of my niece cooking in the dorm kitchen.
    Dump and Go Chicken and Stove Top Stuffing Casserole
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    ¼ c milk
    2 lbs of chicken strips
    salt
    pepper
    1 box of stove top stuffing
    ½ c chicken broth
    Greased 9 x 13. Mix together cream of mushroom, cream of chicken, milk. Salt and pepper chicken strips and submerge in soup mix. Cover with stuffing and broth. Bake 375 degrees covered 40 minutes, uncovered 10 minutes.
