- Asalamu'alaikum all. This is the first in a series of videos where I will be sharing stories of dua's that were accepted. This is my story. If you would like your story to be featured in a future video, please email it to me. I will not refer to any names just stating what happened and the lessons learn't. I hope this series will encourage each and every one of us whenever we are feeling down and remind us not to give up hope in Allah or in the likelihood of our duas being accepted. If Allah grants it to you in this life, alhamdulilah but if not then know that it is either not the right time or Allah has saved it for you in the form of good deeds or used it to prevent a harm from touching you. One day out of nowhere, I prayed tahhajud asking Allah to reunite me with my son, after so many years not seeing him, that morning I came home from work, my house looked out of place and strange, I went upstairs and my parents told me ‘sleep somewhere else downstairs, your son is sleeping upstairs’ Subhan Allah

I have no doubt that Allah answers dua, when I was pregnant I pray all the time and when I was giving birth it feels like I had the easiest labour ever, after all the things I had on UA-cam, I'm still saying Alhamdulillah

When I became Muslim and started wearing hijab I was working for a state department and close to the director's office. She was very angry about the hijab and my conversion and coworkers started being really mean to me. One day the attorney of the department came to me and said, "You have to get out of here. They are planning to accuse you of a crime. I'm transferring. I can't stand what they do to people." He did indeed transfer. I really needed a job as I was single with nothing to fall back on. I resigned the next day and the day after that a man from the state where I had once applied called me with a job offer. I went to the interview and was hired. The man turned out to be a Muslim. Unbelievable, but true.

Reading the comments made me want to share my dua story😊. After I graduated with my degree I couldn't find job, it was so stressful any graduate can bear me witness. I decided to run to Allah. I started reading surah Baqarah and did as many Istighfar as possible. Then decided to travel to another town and after 2 weeks I applied for job, the first job i was shortlisted, interviewed and selected immediately. It was miraculous walahi. Friends and fam were like "you are such lucky" They didn't know my relationship with Allah. I ran back to Allah to thank him. Alhamdulilah Yarab. Powers of prayer.

Once when I was really upset and distressed one time (I can't remember why) and I didn't know how I could find a way out. And then, in that very moment, a car slowly drove by. And I saw the number plate of that car and part of it spelt out DUA. SubhanAllah!
I think this is an important lesson for me to always turn to Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala), as He is the only one who can save me out of a hardship.

during exam season i was overwhelmed with how close all my exams were, especially knowing that i was not prepared and at fault of my own, did no revision for an upcoming exam. to my knowledge the exam was a week away and one day during salah i cried in sujood and made dua begging Allah to help me and make it easy for me. on that very day i was sorting through the papers on my desk and looked at my exam timetable to see what time this exam was.. turned out the exam was a month away and not a week away. this was crazy to me bc i swear i remember seeing that the date for this exam was week ago and it's not something i'd get wrong, but just on that day when i cried in my dua, the exam date was for a few weeks later giving me more time for revision. subhanAllah i truly believe this was a sign that Allah was helping me. regardless of how the exam went, I asked Allah to help me and He gave me more time.
@K - hey! Yes it was A Levels a few years back. I didn't really manage in a month as I still didn't prep well enough despite being given that chance. The lesson I took from it was that Allah gave me another chance and aided me - not that I would do well in the exam (without putting work in). I'm working now alhamdulillah and done with studying. You'll get there sis.
When I was around 10 I think, I used to make Dua for a brother or a sister, and Allah granted me with a brother. I had no idea that Allah would grant me with another brother.
To this day I am thankful for Allah giving me my brothers. I love them so much.
i was almost going to repeat the year i did horribly on one of my final exams and there was no saving it , i knew i had no hope but i still didn't give up and took the other exams i had the following days ,it was soo painful i cried and begged Allah after every single prayer to save me , and i put my trust in him knowing that no matter what happens , it's for the best and i kept praying , and after that i succeded with a miracle and passed my year alhamduli'Allah , i was on the verge of falling but he saved me , and then i truly understood that Allah never fails those who rely on him !

i also have a story of accepted dua....i gave my 2nd year exam of mba but bcz of some depression i didn't do well in exam....on result day i prayed n asked allah to give me atleats 22 marks in each subject.....n guess what.....same day my result announced and in one course i got 22 out of 30 n in rest of subjects i got 22 plus marks.....even my exam went so bad but allah saved me.....Allhamdulillahhhh.....
@Leila Ali yes sure... sister dua's acceptance is only depends on one thing which is faith.....ask ur self...do u really believe in acceptance of dua....do u really believe that god hears u n answer r duas....if ur faith is 100% then nothing can stop ur duas to be answered...

Assalomu Aleykum Sisters and brother. Peace be upon you all. The similar thing happened to me a year ago. I was newly graduated and couldn’t get the job during the recruitment in order to pay my last tuition. The very last week of the June, I attended in job forum without Getty ready enough. Then, one company gave me a recruitment sheet and asked me foil it and come the next day to interview. As it was one of the huge companies of Japan, when I was there for interview, there were around 150 people for that day only. After interview, I went for Camii Masjid in Tokyo and asked from The Almighty Ar Rahman to give me good news. Wallahi after an hour from the interview they called me and gave me a job when I had just finished my Asr prayer. My friend and I were in tears. Subhanallah He is the Most Merciful ( there is no any suitable word in dictionary to praise him the way he should be called), but in our language of form we call him with beautiful names. Mashallah.
MashaaAllah sister so happy for you. I've just started praying Tahajjud Alhamdullilah I woken up second night in a row. InshaaAllah, I am planning on being consistent to wake up at 3 am and renew wudu and pray Tahajjud InshaaAllah. I've asked Allah and I recited Al Fatiha before for Allah to wake me up and Alhamdullilah he did. I rely on Allah. I was on my sijada crying like a baby when I was praying Tahajjud and making dooa.

Yes I remember a similar situation with myself! I had moved to a new city and was looking for work,then I started a Islamic class where after two weeks of attended the tutor announced that one of her students is looking for a child minder as she is a single working mum. A few of the the students applied but my tutor said she would recommend me and then I was selected for the job!SubhanAllah. I am still very good friends with the mother of the children I was taking care of.This was a few years ago.She is a practicing Muslim revert and has taught me soo much about Islam.Allah is sufficient for us.Never underestimate the power of dua..♥️
Jazakillah. To whoever stumbles upon this comment, can you please keep me in your prayers, or just like even 1 dua at the very least would be appreciated. Im having 17 exams starting in 20 days and im no where near prepared, my morale is so low and i can barely get to focus and its heartbreaking cuz i know my entire future depends upon these exams and my family will be very disappointed if i dont manage ti get good grades that can place me in college with a scholarship (otherwise i wont be able to continue my studies :c) i request you all to pray that I get my desired grades 😭😭😭😭

Alhamdullilah whenever I think of all the incidences that ALLAH answered my prayers instantly I just cry I mean IAM no where near being perfect but Allah never lets me down HE is always there when you cry to him😭😭 nothing can match His mercy. Asalaamu alaykum sister, I have a very similar story. This moved me nearly to tears because of how much I relate. I was working a job that I was very comfortable with, but people were being physically abused. I always had that mentality where if I wasn’t doing the abusing I’m okay, but then I saw something online that’s said “you will be questioned about every evil that happened before you and what you’ve done”. That literally was speaking to ME. Reporting my colleagues was out of the question since the higher ups knew about it and it would just be me paying the price in the end. I alhamdullilah quit the job and I was offered TWO jobs right then. One of which was for an Islamic nonprofit. I feel like Allah literally handed it to me. No effort, like I was being rewarded Subhanallah. I love this deen💓

Sayeda Al I’m not too sure since I don’t work there anymore. I couldn’t report for a number of reasons with the most detrimental one being that the entire facility was corrupt. Alhamdulilah ...Allah made it easy for me to walk away peacefully ❤️

Allah subhanahu answered by du'a one time. So basically I fell into depression and was always in stress. It was a physiological illness and I always felt upset but I never spoke to anyone other than Allah. I won't state why I was depressed but wallahi one time I was close to committing suicide but I am happy that happened as it led me to being a religious muslim. I was still depressed because of my grades, bullies, exams etc and my father saw a dream about me. Wallahi this is all true. An angel spoke to my father saying that I shouldn't stress or worry myself out, I am putting myself through too much stress and I will live a good life (referring to me in third person saying my name). After I made du'a in my Salah. But judging by my life academically I am starting to doubt it. I cried in my du'a and thanked Allah subhanaha wa ta'ala so much. Shukran ya rab, as salam.

Even thought I have 2 kids (they always fight, which throws me in deeper depression ) and I have my husband , Alhamdulillah. Depression,anxiety etc are the doings of shaytaan to make u sad.forget about ur kids' tantrums,they will both go their ways one day.instead talk to them calmly and nicely.with time when they see that their fights doesnt affect u they will change.when u get those fits of anxiety,sit down and hold your breath for a few seconds,it will pass.believe me its not worth being sad
Habibtii, start reading Surah Al Baqarah everyday or play it at home while you r at home you will see that the atmosphere of the house and people becoming sooo calm. I would advise you to read as I do because it is really good. It has changed my way of thinking, my life is improving day by day alhamdulilah and the house became less noisy, my family don't yell at each other for no reason as they use to, plus your Duas will be accepted so faaaast. For every problems in life, 3ayn, sihr, wealth, health, anything you could think of I started to advise everyone I came across, surah Al Baqarah everyday and also doing a lot of isthigfar after each Salah with the tasbih, 200 times or more as you wish. Guarantee, you will see huge changes in your life.

I used to work in a school where they served haraam food including pork, I made a dua that this would change because 50% and the children were Muslim , and about 6 months after making it it came true, the school changed the caterers who just so happened to be halal.

Yes u saw that correctly..both times someone nudged me properly i woke up looked arnd..then at time n closed eyes...i got nudged againn until i got outta bed to pray. i DON'T deserve it but Allah is Al- Wadood

Salaam sister, Jazakallah Khair for sharing your story. 🌹 I've been going through the same thing at work, I want to leave my job due to the fact that I can't take the vulgarity and disrespect that I am seeing and unfortunately somehow experiencing, I even felt like it is kind of affecting my behaviour, environment plays a huge part as what they say, but I am very scared to leave since I can't even be invited to any job interview even if I started applying for months already. I know to my heart that I have to leave but I am scared to do it before finding anothe one since i don't want to be broke. Inshallah your video will reach a lot of other people. I can recall many incidents that happened to me as well.. but I'll mention the most interesting two of them.
There was a family member I wasn't able to contact with for quite some time and I raised my hands up and asked Allah to reunite me and that particular person in harmony, few days passed and I received a call from that person.
One day my payment didn't arrive on time, and I had a tough time to buy groceries. I asked Allah to assist me because I was starving that day. I felt like going outside and right infront of me there was a 5 paper lying on the ground, brand new cash as well. SubhanaAllah!
