Around 45 years ago, a few days before New Year, I hitched up to Aviemore and stayed there until after Hogmanay. It was around -15°C and I enjoyed some excellent hiking and tried some skiing for the first time. A few months later I went back just to do some skiing. People seem to have forgotten that these were normal conditions. Today, in North London I can still see the odd rose in my garden, and my Passionflower plant still has green leaves on it. Yet most people still seem to think that climate change is either unreal or no big deal.
Bad for a lot of people in the UK . With the floods and wind .
