In school we were taught that female athletes have a higher tendency to get sports related knee injuries due to their wider pelvic & Q angle. I'm sure that this is just one of the biological disadvantages of female athlete vs a trans-women who's biologically still a male
All sports should go by biological gender rules. XY is male, XX is female, and there is no amount of chemicals, or surgeries that can change that fact.
Yea, little bit of a problem with the genetical thing and that last part, because there are biochemical processes in the womb that can actually change that. There are people born with intersexed conditions who can be physically female looking and have XY as their genetic gender markup, and vice versa.
@@ammiiel Exceptions? People born with an intersex condition are actually a lot less rare than people who are transgender, in about 1 to 200 births someone is born with either a visible or non-visible deviation of the reproductive organs considered to fall in the category of the many intersex conditions there are, compared to about 1 in 10.000 births in which the person later turns out to be transgender. And why shouldn't we bend for the smallest of minorities (which, are not small, but ok), because, we do it a lot actually, we have medical help for people with rare conditions who would've died otherwise, we built systems so people born with a disibility (whatever it is) can move mostly freely from A to B without to much of a hassle, so I don't really see why sports should be any different. Also, some people might not even know they are born with an intersex condition up until the moment in their life they expect puberty to start and either notice absolutely no effects of that at all, or notice the onset of puberty belonging to the other sex than what they were identified as at birth going off on how they were physically built. This, for instance can lead to boys being physically looking as boys who start to develop breasts (and not just swollen milk glands that boys can have at the onset of puberty) or girls who notice they are growing a beard.
Iris A quick search told me the figure is actually 1/2000 births, not 200. Maths concludes that that is 0.05% of the population. Hence it is IMPLAUSIBLE to bend the norm for the SMALLEST of the smallest of minorities.

Feminism, women empowerment, some pseudo-feminists even be like, " women are better than men" and bla bla bla. Now I see everything coming back in place.
I support trans women and men. These are facts, proven by science. And I think there's should be a category for them to show their capabilities as athletes. I know for them they want to fit, but unfortunately here nature overcomes society. So let's find a middle ground so everyone can be in a good place.
it would kind of be offensive if they had literally their own sports category. It’s like the disability sports one. But the disability sports one makes sense, they can’t compete against able bodied people. With trans ppl it’s just about gender and trust me as a trans person i would absolutely hate to have spotlights on me like that. Trans people do not want the world to know that they’re trans, rather that their gender is (x). the consequence of them not being born in that body makes them trans. I guess it just wouldn’t be possible 🤷🏼♂️ sometimes nature sucks but it is how it is.
She said it clearly. Trans-woman is biomechanically not identical to woman. Testosterone level alone does not justify the equality of trans-woman to compete with woman.
It’s like putting a man against a woman! The man will always have the physical advantage. Although they identify as woman and I completely understand and respect that but their biology can not be changed, well not anyway yet.
Women and Men are completely equal, and more should be done to make this the case in every aspect of life! However, two of my cousins have decided to have sex changes. One Male to Female, whilst my other cousin did the opposite! After the latter after having gone through testosterone therapy, was markedly stronger and fitter, to his own admission. Far from the converse, the former cousin still kept the majority of her former strength, despite nearly 4 years of hormone therapy and cosmetic surgery! This is what the lady is trying to argue, thus making it quite correctly unfair. I have nothing against anyone of any creed, colour or kind but all against those whom seek to sow division.

I agree with her she is absolutely correct.
I completely agree with this woman, it's not even a matter of view its just plain common sence
Iris Exceptions, not the rule. We don’t need to bend everything for the smallest of the smallest of minorities
With an exception of chess

No transgenders need their own leagues... it scientifically isn’t fair...
it would kind of be offensive if they had literally their own sports category.
The only facts that are proven is that a man is a man because he has a penis and a women is a women because she has a vagina.
She said it clearly. Trans-woman is biomechanically not identical to woman. Testosterone level alone does not justify the equality of trans-woman to compete with woman.
Yes there are women genetic wen that have hormonal problems. This is beyond hormones...
Yes, I'm tired of people equating being a woman with a hormone level. There is so much more to the female body than that. It's just offensive

Harron Hameed it’s not a choice to be transgender, the choice is in the ‘transition’

This is just horrific.
Ha ha! This was in Toronto. The judge found against the transwoman, but only because in his opinion she was trying to make money out of it rather than genuinely wanting his, or should I say her, nether regions waxed. No ruling on whether the female beauticians should legally be obliged to handle a strange man's intimate area! Completely ridiculous. Such incidents give trans people a bad name.
