Iratus is basically the most unbroken, non-glitchy non-Forerunner Alien AI we have seen yet! Im wondering if its Banished creators are aware that the Harbinger can hack AI's, like it did with the Weapon. Also, what would happen if one of the Covenant, or this Banished AI accessed the Domain? So many new questions!
i love how the ai isnt just a typical ai like some of the normal ones, it has a little, cartoonish, look, seeing him just reminds me of aku aku from crash bandicoot, HOPEFULLY.. they might bring something close to spartan ops
It's so cool to have a FREAKING BANISHED AI!! Its also cool that ww get to learn more about the headhunters and even some of the hunters themselves. Cant wait to see where this story goes. I'd say this is an overall strong start to the season
Iratus reminds me of the Covenant AI from the Halo CE Anniversary Terminals, not to mention Camber's inclusion in Halo 2 Anniversary's Terminals. I love that so much of Halo's lore is coming full circle in Infinite!
Yeah but it seems that Iratus was built in a way that damaged his code much much less than Covenant "Scientists" who probably had no idea what they were doing to their captured UNSC AI.
In the first academy cutscene we hear the Spartan instructor (can’t remember her name) asking about the infinity being gone saying to me that this live service story takes place before the main campaign (six months) but season two obviously could have done a time skip so..yeah
Given that season one went on for 6 months, which was also how long Chief was gone for, I wouldn't say it was a time skip, just the timing lining up fairly well.
I think this is set during Infinite's campaign because of what happens at the end of the tutorial. Spartan Agryna tells you how you made her proud and mentions how the Infinity has disappeared before she leaves aboard a pelican. I imagine this would take place after you were introduced to the Academy and its personnel, which would put this sometime between the Infinity getting ambushed at Zeta Halo and the Infinite campaign, depending on how much training you manage to get in before the events of "Lone Wolves" takes place.
This storytelling format seems to be working well. but I wish they could just make the story more in depth. But if they can't I hope they at least hint at certain story elements that were mysteries or at at the absolute least tease future DLC
I like that the new armor core looks pretty practical. Parts of it have rails for attachments and some of the helmets looking like modern day fast helmets, two of them even having night vision nods.
The original Tutorial cutscene we got when Season 1 launched, which kicks off the Academy story, is set right after Infinity disappeared with Zeta Halo as Agryna is getting the word on everything that happened. So it probably takes place in the weeks following those events.
As a longtern hardcore fan of the Halo. I can say that Im highly against this whole Banished AI idea. Its design remind me the Cartoon Uka Uka character from the Crash Bandicoot game series, so no. Its silly, at least if this will be a regular AI similar to Cortana, Serina, Isabel or Roland style, nope they continue with this silly Infinite Multiplayer AI, Im going to vomit!
@@petrsvancara8785 I think it adds more uniqueness to the Banished showing that they’re willing to adapt and that they’re not just some dumb generic mercenary faction
@@ShadySliver17 Huh? Read once again what I write here, they should use a design of classic AI model from Campaign similar to Cortana, The Weapon, Isabel or Serina, or even Roland. Not some floating silly AI face that they did exclusively for the Infinite's multiplayer. Thats wrong AF. Just the Banished Brute figure would be much better fitting, not some silly, half-cartoon face with alcoholic vibes.
@@themoralcompass4185 Ehh? That's all you say? I work with design in my Job almost daily, and from the pure art/style perspective, what they just choose to do with the story here is basically good idea in a wrong visual execution, let alone the fact that either Covenant or the Banished never ever had any desire to own or create their own AI. I play a lot of stylish games, with oldschool, cartoon graphics, that's not a problem for me, I actually love some of them. But this is stuff that doesnt fit Halo at all, Im saying this as a huge fan of Halo since Halo:CE. Simply said, not all of the players are happy with this new, funny AI companion that you have in multiplayer. That's why there's the option to turn it off. And they even build the MP story around it? Sorry, but that is silly. As I said before, if they made it based on the actual model of classic AI design that all the AI's in Halo had previously, that would be much better. And if they instead of that somehow bring back the Isabel from Arc in Halo Wars 2, hell, that would be amazing. So, dont tell me to go outside or something, Im telling you facts.
0:43 When you play the academy Spartan Agryna says that Master Chief is missing, so we roughly know that it takes place fairly after the begging of the Halo Infinite Campaign.
Part 2 could be the introduction of juggernaut the ai could go into the simulation and take control of a spartan and force them to kill their peers then once the host dies they switch to the killer as the in lore interpretation
Seeing our Spartan in the cutscenes brought back memories of Halo Reach! I loved that and I'm loving this, hope there's more and that we can replay all the cutscenes in the future.
Break downs like this definitely help me appreciate the lore related aspects of all this content, especially because I stopped following the Halo lore after Bungie left
I personally liked Spartan Ops. Thought it was a great idea for a narrative coop mode where you and your buddies playing as YOUR multiplayer Spartans kicking ass against the COVID remnants, Innies, Banished, and other hostile would be fun and continue building the world of Halo. Also, instead of the archive being Forerunner or Xalanyn, what if this Archive was an Ancient Human archive that survived the Forerunners’ cultural destruction of Ancient Spacefaring Mankind?
I would love a reach op as a one off dlc where we find six’s armor and maybe some other noble team members signature items (like Carter’s helmet which rolled out of the pelican, Emile’s kukri, Kat’s arm and Jorge’s tags) held by various HVT’s
I didn't see it in the video, but once you complete the Interference event battlepass you get another cutscene of you succesfully trapping the AI and Argyna starting to cracking the archive. It also implies that shes "Teaching him how to play nice" which is probably why you can get him as an AI at rank 50
thats not the only cutscene ive seen there was one that i don't think i was supposed to see about agryna saying something about luring someone into a simulation to get the ai out of his head. i saw this when loading into a last spartan standing match and had just started the event pass so it was really strange. sadly i didn't think to record it.
The chip is directly connected to the armor's neural link, which is basically the one component that keeps the wearer from being crushed by their own armor. There's more to it than that, of course, but you can always just read the books or look it up.
Fred was controlled by an AI momentarily in the book Last Light I think. It was Forerunner that took over his suit and he had no control so the team had to fight him to the ground and remove either his helmet or chip. Can't remember.
“Death” hopefully. If Cortana is truly dead than 343 threw her away just before the peak of her character ark. Cortana’s whole character ark in Halo Infinite felt like an afterthought and was rushed like it didn’t matter and like it was just a way to push the Weapon into the story
@@darkspark5854 You can blame fans hating on the Created for that. I can totally understand why people didnt like Cortana becoming a villian, but the reality of this situation is that we were denied seeing her character continue to grow and change due to fans backlash to the Created. I hope you go into detail on the new unlockables, they hold alot of very interesting tidbits that hint about what happened during the UNSC and co vs Created War

@@HiddenXperia do you think that Halo Infinite could rise as many thought it would? Or do you think that it will still be on the lengthy list of 343's failures? They totally wasted their chance on launch, especially when taking into account that their competition sucked, which is a once in a lifetime chance and something you can't ever really bet on. Now, I haven't picked up Infinite in a month or two due to the glaring lack of content, 343's fan blaming statement, and Elden Ring and Dark Souls being superior, but my buddies on discord are telling me that it looks super good. Feels like this is gonna end up teasing something along the lines of A.) The Banished finding a key artifact that happens to coincide with key intel on the Endless (possibly what they truly are or what they're capable of) or B.) Something Reminiscent of Forerunner tech that COULD possibly be used as a counter weapon against the Endless. -Bonus if this leads to the Didact's possible return and they use a device on Cambor to bring him back/accidentally bring him back. as he's still technically in the Domain since way back during that one comic I can't remember lol
I would like to see Infinite do something similar to Fortnites story events where the end of the season is like this big live event thats an interactive set pice with like a boss fight. Imagine having a mission where you and a bunch of other players have to defend the Academey from a Banished attack, that would be sick
0:56 Its in between during the halo infinite camping when Cortana blows up the spartan training space station. Even at the beginning of the academy they say they loose contact with the infinitity
The Academy narrative events take place during Infinite because the tutorial starts with the Commander saying the Infinity and the ring are gone/disappeared which happens at the beginning of Infinite's campaign
Yeah the academy tutorial actually brings up a good point I never thought about in the campaign you thought cortana destroyed part of the ring to stop atriox no she says the ring and the infinity have vanished so I think cortana teleported zeta halo damaging it maybe so that's the timeline is cortana dies to stop Atriox by teleporting the ring and everything around it and immediately the tutorial starts with spartan Agryna training the next Spartans and sending this wolf pack to gather Intel to find both zeta halo and the infinity so the tutorial and multiplayer cutscenes are taking place during the months of master chief floating in space timeliness wise. Which makes sense the second cortana is gone and the banished are focused somewhere else the humans can rebuild their forces.
Which makes dlc potentially more amazing because I thought the only human help you can get is the spirit of fire crew because you know the guardians emp's the human fleet and what little forces they have are being killed by the banished but now thinking about it there's multiplayer spartans which is happening before the campaign could come to your aid. YOUR multiplayer character could come in dlc to support the master chief that would be awesome master chief is alone maybe finds what's left of the infinity crew but are overrun and all of a sudden my clown coloured spartan comes with a fleet of other multiplayer spartans saying "we have had multiple battle pass season experience gathering lone wolves, Intel and elites (if they add playable elites) to come help you master chief we were doing all this what we're you doing?" this is probably dlc's down the line honestly I'd love infinity crew, flood, odst, elite/Arbiter, hell spirit of fire crew and endless/maybe you play as the banished dlc first the game even tho its already has a good story it has so much potential. potential I don't want as a bloody book the Arbiter and Vale book should have been dlc I still hope they adapt it as dlc the Arbiter should be a main character again why is his story not in the game? You have gold story potential a time skip like they have done is perfect for introducing what the rest of the universe is like now but we're stuck on this damn ring with 1 guy and a AI what are cortana's forces doing without her? how are the elites doing? Is the didact alive why is his face on the lone wolfs poster? Is he controlling the prometheans? what about the warden eternal? What about team osirus is locke dead all we know is Vale's alive are the others dead? What about alpha 9 we know buck and his odst's turned spartans were on the infinity are they dead? Everyone is on about the multiplayer not having enough content which even is true what about the story so much unanswered questions that's why I am sticking to halo infinite I really fucking hope the dlc is big the cut content alone would have made infinite even cooler SO MUCH POTENTIAL.
Man I would have loved a PVE campaign. Like have the Banished try to get into the Academy and have it sort of play like the Rishi Moon in The Clone Wars show. Perhaps the Banished invade and our Spartan passes out in the woods and wakes up to a banished patrol. After defeating them your AI buddy (would need extra voice lines from each AI voice actor) and you find that the distress beacon isn't on because the Banished want to lure more UNSC forces who think it's safe. So our main goal is to get it back on while trying to find friendly Spartans and Marines. Maybe have camera footage we can find of Brutes and Elites absolutely tear apart the base and it's staff and we see the corpses litter the hallways and training ranges. Sort of a small ODST vibe. I think that would be fun.
The second you called them HeadHunters made my day, most people don’t relive what the “wolves” actually are. And I BETTER get the Patch emblem that’s 343 official emblem for HeadHunters.
We don't count that heresy series, it's not even canon anyway. We have no idea how violential the AI is & what exactly is it's protocols. Simply unplugging might kill the Spartan by overloading his neural-network link, killing him. Remember, smart AI share processing power with their user in MJLNIOR armour systems for combat efficiency, AI & the user can feel & read each other's thoughts, their melding two minds into one. It's like taking a USB & yanking it out, you can cause problems.
From what I remember from the First Strike book, this sounds much like what the Covenant did to human AIs; they would capture and corrupt them to serve their own ends.
I love the thought of a grumpy irritated/bloodthirsty and vile brute AI in my head while I rack up kills and take objectives in matches Kinda like the grunt from Halo 5
If you watched the season 1 cutscene it mentions cheif and the infinity going missing so this takes place around during the campaign but it's right after the events of the attack on infinity
Regarding when the Academy takes place, Luc, the first cutscene had them saying the Infinity just disappeared with all hands with Zeta Halo. So, the Academy training takes place during Infinite at the earliest.
Iratus was ruthless enough to get captured and isolated trying to hijack the Spartan. Their plan is basically the something - make him react impulsively and get trapped and isolated.
In the first cutscene of the academy, Agrena states that the infinity is lost. At the end of the training stuff when Agrena gets back on the pelican she says they have received new intel that the Master Chief has survived and is on the ring. It is most likely set around the same time as the campaign.
Talking about when it takes place. in the academy opening cinematic for s1 at the end of it agryna says "we have had a transmission that the infinity is missing and the chief is down" so if this takes place a few days after that. then this is 6 months before the campaign.
I agree that I loved the idea of spartan ops and the idea that you and 3 of your friends were a fireteam in halo completing story missions which did actually take part in halo Canon. Which abrupt halt on that with halo 5 just killing the main bad guy in spartan ops off in a cutscene which no one liked. When season 2 of spartan ops dropped.. and we were captured and that cutscene dropped of us dropping out of the shackles and killing the elite was just pure gold to me.
7:44 I’m going to put out my guess as to how they explain it: Spartan training sims, at least at this point, are like taking a current scan of live Spartans, possibly with a few pieces of vital info taken out from the scan, like base locations or certain specific parts of security protocols, then putting it in a sim, training it, then putting the newly trained scan back into the brain of a Spartan.
Banished having the ability and want to make AI is kind of terrifying. AI’s are arguably the only reason humanity survived the covenant long enough for infighting and some lucky moves to break them apart. Banished developing AI, working with offensive bias, Atriox’s own mental prowess in war, I hope this all pays off well because I’m definitely intrigued
I appreciate the explanation. I think the most important part (that folks now may be looking for) is that Part 2 isn't being released until July 19th. If you're anything like me, you've finished the Battle Pass and are left wondering when you'll figure out what the heck is actually the story with the Banished AI and whether some of the other items will have any explanation/application within the story.
My big theory on this is that the whole separate multiplayer story takes place in the 6 months Chief is floating in space after the Infinity defeat and Agryna will eventually send you to "Find and help the Chief" and that will be the introduction to Campaign Co-Op with your Spartan worked into the story, cutscenes and all.
Well all this narrative in the season 1 begin in the first moments of the campaign of infinite because the commander receives a transmission that the infinite is down and the chief is lost So I suppose this cinematic is going parallel to the new novel protocol Rubicon
CAMPAIGN DLC PLEASE! I could not care any less for online story telling. Campaign is for stories, Online is for MP. I want more story across the alleged 10 years this game will be actively worked on, so let's maybe focus on the Chief and not make the same mistake as Halo 5 with getting distracted on lesser characters in a well established canon.
I thought that we knew that academy takes place after the attack on Infinite, because Agryna said that Chief and the other are gone, and from encyclopaedia we know that Cortana translocated The Ring and the ships near it to an unknown location, so the UNSC wouldn’t know if they were still alive.
The timeline is right along with the main story. In the first season they say that the Infinity just went missing. which would be at the very first cutscene of the main story.
I wonder if they had plans of making a new Spartan ops as celebration for coop but coop being sent back MONTHS really made them realize “we need more time”
Lol when I saw my spartan, I thought "How weird, I chose the same coating and armor as that guy in the trailer, I guess I'm cool 😎". I realise just now that it actually is MY spartan, nice job 343
Here is my idea of events The academy takes place before the events of the campaign. Spartan Agnya, the spartan instructor, makes mention of the space station that was destroyed in one of the cutscenes and then speaks about of how the infinity is now gone. In the information of season 2, cortana is gone and the banished are now trying to fill the void of power with their forces

Imagine if the banished reverse engineer a shield world into a weapons factory or use retriever sentinels as makeshift siege engines for storming unsc strongholda similar to the siege engine concept art bungie had for halo reach.
I hope this is gonna be a mythic style AI where for example that controlling an area will cause it to glow red and also cause banished sparks. Or hacking a door in BTB causes banished alarms.
It's actually in the premium version of the battle pass
The single coolest thing I can imagine is if infection was introduced by the Spartan that housed the Banished AI being corrupted somehow
This game NEEDS a PVE mode with narratives. Like I dunno make ONI go like: “hey you! You work for us now. Do this and that” and then we find ourselves as our spartan doing stuff like missions and hell even defending outposts or what not. Maybe stealth ops or even recon. Not sure but it would be the best thing ever.
Considering ONI are basically gone at this point, you're gonna run into problems. Don't you remember what happened to Sydney?
@@dragonbornexpress5650 Wait what, when did this happen
@@dragonbornexpress5650 That was just a single UNSC headquarters that held a majority of humanity’s military leaders. ONI is still very much alive, just weakened.
Like a better Spartan-Ops
they tried that and its fairly unanimous that Spartan Ops was garbage. I actually didnt mind it but thought it could be a lot better
I love seeing the player Spartan with the characters, it feels just like reach. Also, it shows that you are one of the best of the program, since there are other genetic Spartans that appear here.
My only question is what will Atriox do the creator as he likely didn't approve of the creation
@@rangerleaf1505. As we know, Atriox is currently stuck somewhere beneath Zeta Halo.

I was thinking more Uka Uka from Crash
In the first academy cutscene we hear the Spartan instructor (can’t remember her name) asking about the infinity being gone saying to me that this live service story takes place before the main campaign (six months) but season two obviously could have done a time skip so..yeah
I think she references Master Chief as MIA so probably when the Infinity fell honestly
Given that season one went on for 6 months, which was also how long Chief was gone for, I wouldn't say it was a time skip, just the timing lining up fairly well.
@@epicdude3659 Oof
It’s after the campaign ends.
Probably did, because at the start of season one you'remore of a rookie, but now your spartan is literally helping with critical operations...
The fact that the Banished are using an A.I that has the personality of a brute is itself kinda intimidating…and INVIGORATING
@@petrsvancara8785 get over it stop whining, go outside for once.
0:42 The first part of this from Season 1 stated it was after Infinite's prologue cutscene, Agryna says that Infinity was missing and "the Ring gone".
If breaker is part of the story, catalyst probably will be too, and coincidentally catalyst happens to fit as a forerunner archive…
So the Meta from RvB but on Steroids?
I like that

Ah yes, the COVID remnants. I love this
I would love a reach op as a one off dlc where we find six’s armor and maybe some other noble team members signature items (like Carter’s helmet which rolled out of the pelican, Emile’s kukri, Kat’s arm and Jorge’s tags) held by various HVT’s
I never thought an AI can have that much control over a Spartans armor to the point it can torture them.
The chip is directly connected to the armor's neural link, which is basically the one component that keeps the wearer from being crushed by their own armor. There's more to it than that, of course, but you can always just read the books or look it up.
So you are saying that, lets say, Cortana, could potentially put Master Chief into a coma, or make him stop moving? Curious...
Fred was controlled by an AI momentarily in the book Last Light I think. It was Forerunner that took over his suit and he had no control so the team had to fight him to the ground and remove either his helmet or chip. Can't remember.
It's known that the AI connects with the wearer on a neural level. They need not control the armor to torture the wearer, direct pain impulse would do

Just seen there’s a Jega ‘Rdomnai emblem in infinite now and it has the description, “it was only a flesh wound”
🤔
Pretty sure that's a reference to the fact that both Jega and the Black knight from Monty Python lost their left arms.
The dlc is after Cortanas death. You can look it up in Inifinte's menu
They have been sweeped under the rug nearly as fast as Cortana herself.
I hope you go into detail on the new unlockables, they hold alot of very interesting tidbits that hint about what happened during the UNSC and co vs Created War
Spartan ops v 2?
Spartan ops for me was the telltale sign that 343 would have a track record of incomplete stuff.
The story takes place after infinite, If you people payed attention to the first cutscene the commander mentions laconia station or whoever you spell it being blown up by cortana.
I actually unlocked the new AI in the battle pass. Used double XP on everything but also go the 25 levels unlocked with premium battle pass. Iratus AI was well worth it lol.
I love the way Iratus is animated, reminds me alot of Uka Uka and Aku Aku from the crash games.
The Banished continue to impress me
i reckon the perfect game would be a HALO ODST 2 set during the events between halo 2-3 when the flood outbreak happened.
Oh you can see the banished AI in that teaser
Always love your content. Been watching since 200k. Keep on going!
Appreciate it!
I'm on the fence, as the problems with S1 will be repeated, but I'd like to hear your thoughts and of those who read this.
Dude frickn Banished A.I is a neat concept, I'm really liking where this season is going & how it's doing its events
Banished have an AI, spartan found it, put it in helmet to protect other stuff. Done.
Feels like this is gonna end up teasing something along the lines of
A.) The Banished finding a key artifact that happens to coincide with key intel on the Endless (possibly what they truly are or what they're capable of) or
B.) Something Reminiscent of Forerunner tech that COULD possibly be used as a counter weapon against the Endless.

Its in between during the halo infinite camping when Cortana blows up the spartan training space station.
All of these cutscenes are new to me. I wasn’t able to see any of them for some reason. So thanks for catching me up!
It’s set after. There is The “Banished trophy” that I believe works to prove this.
The spartan should've just removed his helmet and keep the AI plugged in. Seems to work for TV show Chief.
Smh
I love the old Bungie era lore
I love the thought of a grumpy irritated/bloodthirsty and vile brute AI in my head while I rack up kills and take objectives in matches
Kinda like the grunt from Halo 5
If you watched the season 1 cutscene it mentions cheif and the infinity going missing so this takes place around during the campaign but it's right after the events of the attack on infinity
Regarding when the Academy takes place, Luc, the first cutscene had them saying the Infinity just disappeared with all hands with Zeta Halo. So, the Academy training takes place during Infinite at the earliest.
This smells like red v blue to me
i like the sotry and narrative. honestly cant wait to see where this goes and cant wait to see the future seasons.
Iratus was ruthless enough to get captured and isolated trying to hijack the Spartan. Their plan is basically the something - make him react impulsively and get trapped and isolated.
Having your Spartan in a cinematic is a total reminder of Bungies Halo Reach and how good it was.
Right after the data transferring completes, you can see Eratas’s figure on the screen.
Ngl, I liked seeing my spartan in the cutscene and a banished AI is pretty crazy.
Nice to see another halo vid. Glad that you seem pretty interested given the sort of neo-draught we had after the campaign.
Interesting. Was not expecting the story to go in this direction. Props.
Iratus is even confirmed to be made by Lux Voluspa. When you go to equip Iratus is says "Manufactured by: Lux Voluspa"
The banished al is very cool and I love the design
7:44 I’m going to put out my guess as to how they explain it: Spartan training sims, at least at this point, are like taking a current scan of live Spartans, possibly with a few pieces of vital info taken out from the scan, like base locations or certain specific parts of security protocols, then putting it in a sim, training it, then putting the newly trained scan back into the brain of a Spartan.
halo reach had your spartan visible in the cutseen for the campaign
Iratus is just Uka Uka from Crash Bandicoot, I can't unsee it
I love that Iratus looks like Aku Aku from Crash Bandicoot
Banished having the ability and want to make AI is kind of terrifying. AI’s are arguably the only reason humanity survived the covenant long enough for infighting and some lucky moves to break them apart. Banished developing AI, working with offensive bias, Atriox’s own mental prowess in war, I hope this all pays off well because I’m definitely intrigued
We know it’s after the infinite campaign. The academy ends with infinity going missing
You missed a cutscene, after you complete the event pass
5:07 it looks like you can actually see Iratus in the trailer like a mirror
Ok so... the spartan 4s... who were fighting an army of AI... can be gimped by an AI... yeah make sense.
its almost as if 343 wrote them self into a corner at the end of 5??????
I didn't fully realize the cut scene used your spartan because with Yorri it changes you to the default spartan
Covenant: we fix forerunner artifact
Banished: we break artifacts
My big theory on this is that the whole separate multiplayer story takes place in the 6 months Chief is floating in space after the Infinity defeat and Agryna will eventually send you to "Find and help the Chief" and that will be the introduction to Campaign Co-Op with your Spartan worked into the story, cutscenes and all.
I am so satisfied with everything that they did for season 2 even to have your own Spartan within the good scenes itself
Oh my god thank you for posting this
If you listened to the intro of the academy, you would hear that the infinity disappeared. Showing that this takes place during infinites campaign
Well all this narrative in the season 1 begin in the first moments of the campaign of infinite because the commander receives a transmission that the infinite is down and the chief is lost
So I suppose this cinematic is going parallel to the new novel protocol Rubicon
I thought the best part of the cinematic was the Banished AI continues to rage and they're just talking over it. Kinda made me laugh a little
CAMPAIGN DLC PLEASE! I could not care any less for online story telling. Campaign is for stories, Online is for MP. I want more story across the alleged 10 years this game will be actively worked on, so let's maybe focus on the Chief and not make the same mistake as Halo 5 with getting distracted on lesser characters in a well established canon.
I thought that we knew that academy takes place after the attack on Infinite, because Agryna said that Chief and the other are gone, and from encyclopaedia we know that Cortana translocated The Ring and the ships near it to an unknown location, so the UNSC wouldn’t know if they were still alive.
the Banished AI in your thumbnail reminds me of the masks in Crash Bandicoot, but more angular.
I've been playing since December, I didn't even know there was suppose to be a story to the multiplayer/seasons
The timeline is right along with the main story. In the first season they say that the Infinity just went missing. which would be at the very first cutscene of the main story.
There's actually a second extra cutscene. Go to the Current event pass, then press Y to watch intro cutscene. Gives a little more context.
Damn, i was so sure we were gonna have spartan ops type of missions. But this is cool as well
I wonder if they had plans of making a new Spartan ops as celebration for coop but coop being sent back MONTHS really made them realize “we need more time”
Lol when I saw my spartan, I thought "How weird, I chose the same coating and armor as that guy in the trailer, I guess I'm cool 😎". I realise just now that it actually is MY spartan, nice job 343
I’ve been saying that for such a long time they need to bring back spartan ops it actually gives your character a narrative!
Here is my idea of events
The academy takes place before the events of the campaign. Spartan Agnya, the spartan instructor, makes mention of the space station that was destroyed in one of the cutscenes and then speaks about of how the infinity is now gone.
In the information of season 2, cortana is gone and the banished are now trying to fill the void of power with their forces
