first it all according to Jesus died for me. it is made up by Christians. I never ask anybody to die for me, also I do not know Jesus at all. And what puzzles me how many people die before Jesus was born perhaps billions never know about this character called Jesus. also, he dies for original sin. another invention, and many more like Christmas, Yester, holy water, virgin Mary, Jesus died in the cross. resurrected on the 3rd day and many rituals created by Christianity. Hell, purgatory, Rosary, the sign of the cross, all pagan rituals and incorporated in the Christianity. according to Christians I go to Hell or perhaps purgatory. Shalom Aharon
Well done! It is really the best Video I saw on that topic! Thank you so much brother, that you did it that awesome job. I'm looking forward for some more videos of that kind, it is a great help for this generation. May God bless you 🙏
Christmas is a pagan holiday. Always was and always will be, which explains why everyone celebrates Christmas, from atheists to even some Hindus and Muslims etc. If Christmas was a genuine Christ based holiday/day of worship, it most certainly would not be loved and celebrated by the world who crucified Christ. Sadly, the majority of Christians who celebrate Christmas do so because they still love the world and the things that are in the world. We are called to be set apart believers in the Lord Jesus and not conform to the customs of this world which is all a deception, part of Satan’s system.
Wait a minute.... The world does not love and celebrate Chirstmas as you say. They just exchange gifts, eat foods with family members. They don't use the date to remember the advent of Christ. So your argument is flawed. It presumes the world celebrates Christmas when they don't. The only ones who celebrate Christmas (Christ's birth) are Christians)
Lol, I love this, we took it back, glory be to God, Romans 14:5-6 says:, one man esteemed one day above another, another esteemed everyday alike, let every man be fully persauded in his own mind. He who regarded a day, regards it unto the LORD, and he who regards not the day, to the LORD he does not regard it.
Lots of solid facts brought to light here but there is absolutely no evidence that Christ or early Christians wanted anyone to celebrate His birth, in fact there is no indication that anyone but pagan royalty wanted their own birthdays to be celebrated, which makes perfect sense.
Thank you for this amazing presentation. You are correct. If we want to repurpose a pagan holiday and use it to evangelize and celebrate the Birth of Christ, so be it. Thank You Jesus for coming for me.
I know JESUS was Born. That's all that matters. December just so happens to be the day we celebrate His birthday. That's all. No controversy for people that are true believers. We belivers make a huge deal about Jesus birth, because it is!!!, and non believers make a big deal about the date. Hmmm😒, interesting😊. Thanks Living Waters for your ministry🙏🙏❤
That's right. I celebrate december because the word became flesh and suffered on the cross for my sins ans the world's sins. Thank you Jesus Christ my savior our Lord!
@Justin Krueger No, it matters to you, not me. Surprise!!!, there are millions of other people born on Dec 25 also. I don't know Tammuz, nor do i care to. "This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it." So every single day on the calendar is made by my Saviour Jesus Christ, therefore all the days belong to HIM. Dec 25th just so happens to be the day i celebrate the birth of my Lord Jesus Christ. It's the celebration of Jesus that's important not anything else. If Tammuz is an idol than it's not real anyway, and if it's a person it doesn't matter to a real Christian. Jesus Lives🙏🙏🙌🙌
@Justin Krueger That is really stretching Jeremiah 10: 2-5 to mean what you want it to mean. God is talking about Idols made by hand to be worshipped. Christians don't worship trees😂. That's why they are thrown out to be trashed after Christmas🎄😂. We are not throwing out our gods😂. We decorate a Chritmas tree for decoration purposes. We also decorate our homes, inside and outside, just like you'd decorate a home when a loved one is having a 🎂 birthday party. It's part of decoration/celebration🎉 of our Saviours Jesus Christ's Birth. That's all. If we decorate for loved ones to show love, we can most certainly decorate to show love, and celebrate the birth of THE KINGS OF KINGS, AND LORDS OF LORDS JESUS CHRIST. "Praise you Jesus, Halleluyah". It's all about loving Jesus in spirit and in truth. Non believers decorate cause they love the decorations. We believers decorate because we Love, and worship our Lord and and Saviour. Holy Day for us. Do what you want Justin. You worship God the way you want. God knows your love for him, and we will worship God the way we want. If decorating is offensive to you, don't decorate. No judgement. God sees your heart and honors it. Just like he honors the hearts of us who decorate in honor of HIM. They will know we are Chritians by our love. HAPPY NEW YEAR🎉🎊. GOD RICHLY BLESS YOUR NEW YEAR 2021🙏🙏
@ChristianDisciple247 Yes he is pleased when we celebrate Him on Dec 25. That's is why why we can feel Gods anointing and presence when we Christians do our Christmas plays with the nativity scenes, and sing many Christian songs like; Oh Holy night ect.. That is honoring in the sight of God because it honors the birth of Jesus. You probably attend a more legalistic church. Praise the Lord🙌. God richly bless you🙏
@Justin Krueger No one is bowing down and worshipping a Christmas tree. The Christmas tree began in the country of Germany in the 16th century. Does the Christmas tree have legs and a face? Justin, why do you so readily believe a twisted interpretation of Scripture?
@Justin Krueger Watch the video. The “pagan lie” is explained. But no matter what any of us feels right or wrong about celebrating Christmas, if you truly believe that Jesus is the messiah sent from our Heavenly Father, His only begotten Son who died on Calvary’s cross to pay the price for our sins... for ALL of our sins... then we can most certainly celebrate Christmas EVERYDAY! Celebrate in worship and giving what you can to those who are in need, including the church. God bless! And merry Christmas!
How is putting up a pagan Christmas tree, giving each other presents, making children believe about Santa and speeking reindeers giving glory to Jesus ?
December is misleading because it came from the Gregorian calendar and copy from Latin the original of Romans. and it came from Latin Desam means 10 and not 12 months if you go further down November means 9, October means 8, September means 7 and naturally July, means Julio Cezar, and Augustus Cezar roman emperors, it means our calendar is fake. created by the Pope Gregorian. our calendar Actually is copy from Julian Calendar. it is all made up like the Christian Bible and the birth of Jesus. and so forth. perhaps it will offend many people, but it is real. Aharon
Questions. Where does the word Christmas comes from? Why the 25th, even it's not Pagan? Who started December 25th? Who started Christmas and why? What are the exact origins of the celebration?
Spurgeon on christmas “We have no superstitious regard for times and seasons. Certainly we do not believe in the present ecclesiastical arrangement called Christmas. First, because we do not believe in the mass at all, but abhor it, whether it be sung in Latin or in English; and secondly, because we find no Scriptural warrant whatever for observing any day as the birthday of the Savior; and consequently, its observance is a superstition, because not of divine authority. Superstition has fixed most positively the day of our Savior’s birth, although there is no possibility of discovering when it occurred. … It was not till the middle of the third century that any part of the church celebrated the nativity of our Lord; and it was not till very long after the Western church had set the example, that the Eastern adopted it. … Probably the fact is that the “holy” days were arranged to fit in with the heathen festivals. We venture to assert, that if there be any day in the year, of which we may be pretty sure that it was not the day on which the Savior was born, it is the twenty-fifth of December. Nevertheless since, the current of men’s thoughts is led this way just now, and I see no evil in the current itself, I shall launch the bark of our discourse upon that stream, and make use of the fact, which I shall neither justify nor condemn, by endeavoring to lead your thoughts in the same direction. Since it is lawful, and even laudable, to meditate upon the incarnation of the Lord upon any day in the year, it cannot be in the power of other men’s superstitions to render such a meditation improper for to-day. Regarding not the day, let us, nevertheless, give God thanks for the gift of His dear Son.”
It breaks my heart that not only other religions argue with us about Jesus, but we also argue among ourselves. And me too, I don't agree with celebrating Christmas. It is definitely pagan. It of 1000 cards you might find one with reference to Jesus. Everything is about Santa. Shopping spree and presents. It takes the focus from God to celebrating humans and made up identities. Very sad. When children find out Santa isn't real, they probably won't believe Jesus either anymore.
My family (my spouse and children) wanted to keep Christmas, but my bottom line was no pretending Santa. I always told them that Santa flying around in a sleigh was not true. When I was young, my mother taught the Santa thing. My mother believed my older sister: My older sister did some naughty things, but said I did it because she didn't want to be punished. So I got spanked hard and my mother had underlying resentment against me... like forever, even though I said, I didn't do it. One Christmas in particular, my sister got a lot more nice things than me. I was devastated, my self esteem suffered because I thought, even Santa hates me. Then I found out Santa was a fun but not real Christmas story. I vowed I would never teach my children that Santa was real. I love the Christ part of Christmas, and some decor. I don't mind giving a few gifts only as time and budget allow. I don't believe in a lot of exorbitance. I try to show love to others. It makes me sick though when some people spend thousands of dollars on Christmas, huge Christmas trees and piled high with gifts. The poor just can't keep up with that kind of thing and that generally leads to hurt, discomfort or embarrassment, and or even a loss of self esteem for those who are forgotten in the season. p.s. years later I said something to my older sister about that prior situation. Her response was, That was a long time ago. I said, Yeah but you never made it up to me. (She continues to have a tendency to hate me to this day, she has always looked down on me). Then she pathetically said, Sorry, but I know she didn't really mean it.
At about 11:15 minutes into the video, John Harris mentions the scriptures supporting the course of Abijah (under which Zachariah was assigned to work in the temple). Note that there are 24 courses, of a week each. That is about a half of a year. Reason says that if there was for each course, only a week, that means that something (like a repeat of the courses) had to be done for the remainder of the year. So, the Course of Abijah would have occurred twice per Biblical year. Which course was it? That means that Jesus could've been born in either the Fall or the Spring.
Didn't each course of priests serve 2 weeks over the course of the year? How do we know which of Zachariah's weeks Luke is talking about? And how do these calculations take leap months into account? Were the Jews already using their 19 year cycle of leap months by the time Christ was born, or did the leap months still depend on observing the barley crop?
Jacob complained about enduring frost while watching his father-in=law's flocks at night. And winter is the rainy season in Israel so that's when the grazing would be at its best. So there is no reason to assumed that shepherds would not be in the fields at night during the winter.
The observance of Christmas on December 25 was not introduced until 353 A.D. The chief pastor at Rome, Julius I (336-352), had the imperial archives of Rome searched for the exact date of the birth of Christ. A subsequent pastor of Rome, Liberius (352-366), then fixed the celebration of Christmas for December 25. Justin Martyr (died 150 A.D.) writes: “Christ was born in Bethlehem, as may be gathered from the census records.” Another writer, Tertullian (155 or 160-220 or 230 A.D.), testifies that in the census of Augustus the Roman archives have provided the most reliable testimony of the birth of the Savior.
I love the very researched explanation, and Even if the date isn't exactly right it doesn't really matter. Jesus WAS born, he died for me and you, AND most importantly, he lives forever! The fact that we put a pin on a calendar to celebrate his arrival is only icing on the most important cake.
Jesus Christ died on an “accidental” day called Passover. He was buried at unleavened bread festival and resurrected on the feast of first fruits. Was it a coincident too? The Holy Spirit was given on pentecost day and for His birth some truly accidental day was assigned to Him. All seven God's feasts have prophetic meaning. Some of them as we can see have been fulfilled. We all know It was impossible for Him to be born in winter. The pope wants to introduce sunday law and it is practiced in Poland now. We all know God's day is the seventh day of the week. Even communists, who apparently religion free, had their holidays. If we take some time to do a little research, we will find out those holidays were religious/occultic in nature. They even had no problem with christmas and easter. Somebody wants to change times and seasons / the calendar and I think it is for a reason, namely to eradicate God from this world, history, our life even calendar. Dan. 7.25 might refer to this occurance. This is not to offend anyone.:)
I use this time to come together with my family have a great time laugh feast and enjoy each other's company , I know I can do this anytime of the year but its convenient with all the holidays GOD BLESS
Wow, that's really fascinating! I do have a question, though. If Jesus was born in 2 BC, how does that fit with Herod's death in 4 BC? Any thoughts on this?
This is so fascinating! I'm so glad I found this channel and listened to the presentation. It's absolutely astonishing and beautiful. I enjoy studying the scriptures and this has been a special treat. Thank you ❤
Gosh I hear these arguments all of the time. If you want to celebrate it go ahead, however some of us don't. I don't feel at peace celebrating it. I only wish those of you that chose to celebrate it would leave us alone, it is constantly rammed down our throats by those that want to celebrate it.
The problem that our family has with Christmas is that the Roman Catholic Church is who declared Christ's birth to be the 25th of December, not Christians as you repeat throughout the video. The two are separate groups. There is no evidence that early Christians celebrated Christmas at all. In fact, there is evidence that Christians from centuries ago actually distanced themselves from the Roman Catholic traditions of Christmas. You should do a video about that so people can be educated to know that they have been sold a lie in modern America about the traditions of Christmas and who designed them. 1 Thessalonians 5: 22, 2 Thessalonians 2:15, Colossians 2:9, 1 Corinthians 10:6-22, 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1, James 4:17
Great video! You are such a great mathematician!!!! We get Our Lord's name and His birth wrong!!! How would you like someone to get your name and your birthday wrong???
If GOD'S WORD is NOT the standard we are to follow, you are 100% right. We need to read Jeremiah and Moses to see why. Do you take responsibility for the listeners of your claims? No religion has a problem with christmass. I wonder why they find it so easy to accept it... Christmass is for universal religion that is going to come. God, when he created the world with all the stars that are to point to His holidays forever, established 7 holidays forever. And now we try to adapt some pagan, occultic holidays which don't even fit in the picture. With all respect. I think you are a great evengelist but you need to open your eyes and see the enemy.
Chances are that one religion will be Muslimism. Are you ready for that? Didn't he put the stars in the firmament to guide the night? I don't remember reading Adam and Eve celebrating any holiday. Hinduism doesn't have Christmas.
Interesting point. I just read Jeremiah 10 about that... I continued to read in the chapter and the sore point to the Lord seemed to be less about a tree and more about the gold and silver. Perhaps anciently Hebrew apostates got together around a tree and gave each other money for wicked deals behind closed doors. God did create trees so I don't think he hates trees, but rather the deeds that wicked people do. The Lord does seem displeased when we care too much about things, status, and neglect righteous deeds such as truth and caring for those less fortunate. Thus the Lord would not like an overly materialistic holiday of self-gluttony, while ignoring those in need. 3Ne. 15 And I will cut off the cities of thy land, and throw down all thy strongholds; 16 And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thy land, and thou shalt have no more soothsayers; 17 Thy graven images I will also cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee, and thou shalt no more worship the works of thy hands; 18 And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee; so will I destroy thy cities. 19 And it shall come to pass that all lyings, and deceivings, and envyings, and strifes, and priestcrafts, and whoredoms, shall be done away. 20 For it shall come to pass, saith the Father, that at that day whosoever will not repent and come unto my Beloved Son, them will I cut off from among my people, O house of Israel;
Jonathan Cahn said King JESUS REAL Birthday is Nisan 1 or APRIL 1 He was born in the SPRING Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas Blessings and HUGS MARANATHA! 🎅👑💜🔯
It is indeed very possible that Jesus was born on what we call December 25th. It all rests on when was the temple service of the husband of Elizabeth, Zechariah, to calculate the date of Jesus' birth. Elizabeth was in her 6th month of pregnancy when Mary visited Elizabeth, her relative, having conceived Jesus by the Holy Spirit.
This not a big issues for me the most important and big problem is a taken Jesus as a god in spite of he never said worship me or worship trinity.... Please worship only one true god according to Jesus and Bible.... Just think about that With all respect and love 💕
It is believed Jesus was born around the feast of the Tabernacles which is September/October. If we go back nine months from here where are we??? And when DOES life begin??? We need to remember how Jesus came into this world. If we stop celebrating Christmas we could stop reading scriptures associated with Christmas. You can't take away from God's word.
We should not just say, it doesn't matter, as long as it's in my heart". It does matter, because December 25th is a Pagan holiday and paganism is the belief and worship of multiple gods and goddesses. Just as Sunday is not the day of rest and worship.... It's Saturday. Again, Pagans worship the sun... SUNday.
The reason I looked up Jesus birth is because the late Dr. Heiser stated Jesus was born on September 11, 3BCE. He used Revelation 11 and astrological prophecy as a means to come to this conclusion. The problem I have with Dr. Heiser’s and this video is the Bible. Matthew 2 talks about King Herod and the wise men. King Herod ordering the babies to be killed. Here’s the rub: King Herod died in 4BCE, so if one believes the Bible Jesus had to be born before 4BCE. So, I loved the video and I would say, “Amen, amen”, but what do we do with this obvious flaw: King Herod’s time of death?
The weather question surrounding the time frame the birth of Jesus has often been raise by Jehovah witnesses and hasn't been understood by me till and now highly explainable, on planet Earth there are five different biomes 1 biome consists of weather that remains at the constant 70 degrees year-around one such biome is located in middle East in Israel
Jesus was born on Monday, March 1, 7 BC. He was born in the latter reign of Herod the Great. Herod died in 4 BC. Jesus should have been born in the royal month of September. He was given the 15th of September to be his official birthday and to be in line for Messianic requirement.
Ok living waters do back and do ur research. No christian should celebrate. Jesus never ask us to celebrate his Birthday which is not even in december. Man made rituals and traditions he despise why celebrate it.
Herod died after 2 years so if Jesus was born 2 BC that means Herod died 1 AD. Thats wrong. Jews don't follow Roman calendar. John the Baptist was born on the 6 th month of the Jewish calendar. According to Jonathan Cahn Jesus was born on March 20 which coincides wth the Jewish 1st month that is Nissan
I have to disagree with this commentator. No matter what we do about Christmas it still has pagan roots today. The yule logs, decorating of the tree, gift givings were of pagan origin of that. The early Christians of that time period would have not worshipped or celebrated those pagan traditions because the pagans did not worship the true God in the heavens. 1Corinthians 10:21 says you cannot drink from the cup of demons and from the cup of the Lord. Jesus once told a rich man you can not serve two masters God and Satan. Simply saying let's enjoy the Christmas holiday as was said by the commentator but it's OK to accept the pagan tradition with it. True Christians would not do that. Everyone can believe what they want but it does not always make it right.
I'll make this as simple as I can and then I'm out of here nimrod was born on December 25th that's where we get the winter solstice Nimrod also married his mother and them rod was also Noah's I think grandson and he turned against God he hated God he went back and told his people he was God well ironically enough his own grandson or son I'm not sure because I've known this for a long long time murdered him and chopped him up into pieces and scattered him now him and his wife mother whatever you want to call it had a child after his death he was gone named tamus. Do I do believe was also born on December 25th but it is sad overnight a pine tree grew a full grown pine tree not his mother wife who was pagan as was nimrod said that it was his how do I say this private parts and every night while everyone was sleeping Nimrod would come now he's dead my new chopped up but he would come and leave little gifts under the tree I'll leave you with this Robert breaker has a channel on UA-cam he is a third generation minister and he does the best at describing the real meaning of Christmas and that is literally the name of the video if you go to look it up go to his channel and just look for it it's there it's probably five or six years old but it's called the real meaning of Christmas I don't celebrate Christmas I don't celebrate Easter if it does not tell me to do it in that Bible if Jesus himself does not speak it in that Bible I am not doing it birthdays Valentine's Day witchcraft mother's Day Father's Day sweetest Day that's all of the world as a child of God we are to be in the world not of it I'm trying to save as many souls as I can and being disabled and having to sit in a recliner all day this is the only way I can reach out Know your enemy he has always wanted to be worshiped this goes back to 310 ad with Constantine and the Catholics and Constantine twisted paganism and with Christianity so please do your research if you don't want to watch the video that's fine but know your enemy and you better know him well because the king is coming soon... God bless stay safe
Hell was created by Christians, in Judaism, there is no hell where you will spend eternity. Either that or this god forgot to mention it to his "chosen people". Then again Jesus (Joshua) considered non-Jews as hungry dogs wanting the children's food, so maybe there is a hell for non-Jews. Who knows, maybe it is all just make-believe.
Please watch nde( near death experience) on youtube. There are many uploads from all religions, from the simple to doctors etc. Those who were resusiated can tell you why they went there. You can also watch hell testimonies.
@@juditlow7621 It is most likely only the brain's way of dealing with the situation. I have had dreams that seemed to be 100% real, but it wasn't. Have any of these people came back with knowledge that they didn't have before... which they really didn't have, not what they can't remember they had. Why would it be possible for these people to see things that could be discarded as an illusion or a dream and not actually something that can be verified? Is this just another way for this mysterious god to fool the weak minded in believing and leave the wise and intelligent people in doubt? (as per the bible) Isn't this cat and mouse game a little too childish for an all powerful good deity to trick "his creation" "that he loves" into disbelieve just so that he can punish them for all eternity?
This guy conveniently forgets to mention that 1. Joseph would have broken the law if he was outside of Jerusalem during the feast of tabernacles if Jesus was born during that time. 2. There was a planetary alignment on the springtime of 6 BC which the Magi (Zoroastrian priests of ancient babylon and mesopotamia) saw that it symbolized the birth of a newborn ruler in Judea. 3. Herod, who died in 4 BC, ordered all children age 2 years (according to the time he diligently inquired of the wise men) and below to be killed. He's already being dishonest right from the get go and not surprisingly, everything else that he said is just one lie after another.
In all fairness, is there any Christian video where the presenter doesn't lie? If the people who preach Christianity were not dishonest or didn't lie about the scriptures' meaning or evidence, nobody would believe.
its like you admit that that dec 25 is not the Messiah bithday and still you insist to celebrate it becoz 9 months backwards conception. That means it should fall on dec 29 not dec 25. You made an issue for the birth of saturnalia that christian miss it by 2 days and yet you imposed that 9 months calculation for the conception is dec 25 and the worst you want us to celebrate dec 25 instead of september 29 hahahaha nice one dude. So in the end its not about the day our Messiah was born ( SEPT 29 ) but the day of conception is to be celebrated. which is dec 25 wow amazing. Its like he is saying celebrate not you day of birth but the day you are being made yeah right.
I see you and your team in the US are preaching a message: “It is not our ways we are to follow but God's” and His commandments. Who authorised us to make exceptions with regards to God's holidays / feasts. It is God's ways, God's law, God's holidays we are to follow not our ways. Seems logical but we choose to celebrate our holidays. We even invent them or adopt them from paganism. We do not even change their names... easter comes straight from the word asherah - pagan deity. Why could Joseph and Mary not find a place to stay and had to sleep in a manger? Because people came to celebrate, most probably, the feast of tabernacles (Jeshua 's body was a tabernacle in which God dwelt) God's word states clearly, I am sue you know it, God's feasts are forever...
@@juditlow7621 Thank you for your reply. "normal" reaction would be : "What is wrong with christmas and you? It is a family holiday and everybody in the world celebrates it"
Mary conceived in the fifth month after abib Hebrew calenders month thats in October. She got pregnant 😳 and the Bible says she and Elizabeth went full term with christ and John that means he was born in June. Not December. People this is in the Bible. And the middle east was called Egypt 🇪🇬 or akibulan a nubian held african territory historically, of the tribe of Judah and Benjamin
Your math and deductions, per se, make sense. I'm not nearly as knowledgable as you....but you do make for a 'convincing' argument. Question: Why, then, are there diverse opinions from scholars all of whom to be convinced and claim to be very knowledgable.....concerning Christ's birth? Are you certain that your deductions are more sound than other scholars who continue to claim that Jesus was in fact born in April or even March? Have you ever had discussions with these scholars who disagree with you? If you are right and they are wrong, you must be a much better 'deducer' or 'mathmetician' than they are.......and/or much more intelligent. It would be nice to see some friendly but all inclusive and thorough 'banter' between you and other scholars who's opinions vastly differ from yours concerning the date of Jesus's birth. That would make for a very very interesting youtube video.
OK. Now that everyone has had a good Christmas, I would like to give you some information regarding the birth of Jesus and the prophetic around it from a Hebraic Jewish biblical perspective. It is true that Jesus is the reason for the season but what season? I will try to answer that question. Many scholars believe Jesus was born during the Feast of Tabernacles. Matthew Henry states: "It is supposed by many that our blessed Saviour was born much about the time of this holiday; then He left his mansions of light above to tabernacle among us (John 1:14), and he dwelt in booths. And the worship of God under the New Testament is prophesied of under the notion of keeping the Feast of Tabernacles (Zec.14: 16)." For the gospel of Christ teaches us to dwell in tabernacles, to sit loose to this world, as those that have here no continuing city, but by faith, and hope and holy contempt of present things, to go out to Christ without the camp (Heb. 13:13, 14). It teaches us to rejoice before the Lord our God. Those are the circumcision, Israelites indeed, that always rejoice in Christ Jesus (Phil. 3:3). And the more we are taken off from this world the less liable we are to the interruption of our joys. The Bible does not specifically say the date of Jesus' birth. We know it was not during the winter months because the sheep were in the pasture (Luke 2:8). A study of the time of the conception of John the Baptist reveals he was conceived about Sivan 30, the eleventh week. When Zechariah was ministering in the temple, he received an announcement from God of a coming son. The eighth course of Abia, when Zechariah was ministering, was the week of Sivan 12 to 18 (Killian n.d.). Adding forty weeks for a normal pregnancy reveals that John the Baptist was born on or about Passover (Nisan 14). We know six months after John's conception, Mary conceived Jesus (Luke 1:26-33). Therefore, Jesus would have been conceived six months later in the month of Kislev. Kislev 25 is Hanukkah. Was the “light of the world” conceived on the festival of lights? Starting at Hanukkah, which begins on Kislev 25 and continues for eight days, and counting through the nine months of Mary’s pregnancy, one arrives at the approximate time of the birth of Jesus at the Festival of Tabernacles (the early fall of the year). During the Feast of Tabernacles, God required all male Jews to come to Jerusalem. The many pilgrims coming to Jerusalem for the festivals would spill over to the surrounding towns (Bethlehem is about five miles from Jerusalem). Joseph and Mary were unable to find a room at the inn because of the influx of so many pilgrims. They may have been given shelter in a Sukkah, which is built during a seven-day period each year accompanying the celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles. Due to the difficulties during travel, it was common for the officials to declare tax time during a temple feast (Luke 2:1). We know our Messiah was made manifest into a temporary body when He came to earth. Is it possible He also was put into a temporary dwelling? The fields would have been dotted with Sukkoths during this harvest time to temporary shelter animals. The Hebrew word “stable” is called a Sukkoth (Gen. 33:17). "And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn (Luke 2:7)." Joseph and Mary took the child and flew to Egypt and remained there until they were told by God that Herod was dead. Joseph and Mary brought the baby Jesus into Jerusalem forty days from His birth for Mary's purification and the child's dedication (according to Torah this had to be done within forty days of the birth of a male child-not doing so is considered a sin). This indicates that Herod died within the same forty days, because as long as Herod was alive, they could not appear at the Temple. (According to Josephus’ calculations, Herod's death occurred during the Autumn in the fourth year before the Common Era 4 b.c.e.). Later in His life, Yeshua may have been celebrating His birthday on a mountain with three of His disciples. In contrast to birthday parties, such as Herod's, where people were killed for entertainment, His was a celebration of life. On the Festival of Succoth, Moshe (Moses) and EliYahu (Elijah), from centuries past, representatives of the Torah and the Prophets, appeared and talked with Yeshua. One disciple, Kepha (Peter), suggested building three Succoth for Yeshua, Moshe, and EliYahu, because it was required for the festival, but he did not understand that these three were fulfilling that which the festival symbolized: they were dwelling in their Succoth (temporary tabernacles) of flesh, awaiting their eternal resurrection temples (Killian n.d.). A number of Christians are celebrating Christ's birth during the Feast of Tabernacles, complete with decorations and lights on the Sukkah and music.
PLEASE LOOK UP SCHOLAR DR TAYLOR MARSHALL'S AND HIS EXPLANATION OF HOW CHRIST WAS BORN ON DEC 25TH. HE ALSO HAS A BOOK ON THIS. IT IS ALL BASED ON SCRIPTURE AND BOTH TESTAMENTS.
How about the story that nimrod was born december 25

first it all according to Jesus died for me. it is made up by Christians.
Wonderful presentation. You woke me up to do a lot of research. Thank you
Thank you for this amazing presentation. You are correct. If we want to repurpose a pagan holiday and use it to evangelize and celebrate the Birth of Christ, so be it. Thank You Jesus for coming for me.
This was fantastic Praise the Lord 🙌
I wish this was in Spanish. My parents are terrified of Christmas. I wasn't sure what to think bout it until now. Great historical context.
HEAVENLY FATHER THANKYOU FOR THIS VIDEO AMEN!!!!!!!!!
Is John Harris the "heavenly father"? Always heard about it, but nice to be able to put a face to the name. Thanks
Amazing grace ! Thank you living waters. You have opened my eyes more to the truth. I thought Jesus Christ was born on 25th December.
Well, he could’ve been at least conceived... another way of being born, right?!😇
@Justin Krueger Watch the video.
This is interesting cause of all the lies I was convinced there is no jesus. But it seems there is a force against
How is putting up a pagan Christmas tree, giving each other presents, making children believe about Santa and speeking reindeers giving glory to Jesus ?
It most certainly isn't bringing glory to Jesus.

That was explained absolutely brilliantly. Jesus is king of the universe.
Yeshua was born Sept. 11th & so was Moses but many years between.
How do u hey sept 11

Didn't each course of priests serve 2 weeks over the course of the year? How do we know which of Zachariah's weeks Luke is talking about? And how do these calculations take leap months into account? Were the Jews already using their 19 year cycle of leap months by the time Christ was born, or did the leap months still depend on observing the barley crop?
Jacob complained about enduring frost while watching his father-in=law's flocks at night. And winter is the rainy season in Israel so that's when the grazing would be at its best. So there is no reason to assumed that shepherds would not be in the fields at night during the winter.
Yes, true.
Shepherds in Israel keep watching their flocks in winter too.
Thank you sooòoooo much!!!
Outstanding! I so appreciate the historical and Biblical research put into it! Brilliant
Is Bethlehem in Canada or is it in Tasmania.
Bethlehem is near the or within the Equatorial Region. Does it snow there?
I use this time to come together with my family have a great time laugh feast and enjoy each other's company , I know I can do this anytime of the year but its convenient with all the holidays GOD BLESS
That’s why we called it x-mas day,it’s unknown
The X in Xmas was actually the original Greek writing or alphabet (Chi), which means Christ in English.

Why don't we celebrate His days instead of ''holydays''
How can Jesus be born in BC which is before Christ? How could he be born before Christ but died AD?

Blessed were the nomadic shepherds who dwelled in the open field in the cold, so were the only ones to witness the Star and be approached by Angels.

Can we have a video responding to these comments? Please?

Do you KNOW the 'Difference between Concieved and BORN' ? ?
JESUS WAS CONCEVIED IN DEC AND BORN IN SEPT
Wow! Thank you... this is amazing work!
Awesome, enlightening video!
I have always thought the pagan argument was about the verse in the Bible saying don’t adorn trees with gold and silver
Interesting point. I just read Jeremiah 10 about that... I continued to read in the chapter and the sore point to the Lord seemed to be less about a tree and more about the gold and silver. Perhaps anciently Hebrew apostates got together around a tree and gave each other money for wicked deals behind closed doors. God did create trees so I don't think he hates trees, but rather the deeds that wicked people do. The Lord does seem displeased when we care too much about things, status, and neglect righteous deeds such as truth and caring for those less fortunate. Thus the Lord would not like an overly materialistic holiday of self-gluttony, while ignoring those in need. 3Ne. 15 And I will cut off the cities of thy land, and throw down all thy strongholds;
16 And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thy land, and thou shalt have no more soothsayers;
17 Thy graven images I will also cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee, and thou shalt no more worship the works of thy hands;
18 And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee; so will I destroy thy cities.
19 And it shall come to pass that all lyings, and deceivings, and envyings, and strifes, and priestcrafts, and whoredoms, shall be done away.
20 For it shall come to pass, saith the Father, that at that day whosoever will not repent and come unto my Beloved Son, them will I cut off from among my people, O house of Israel;
Do eastern and asian cultures adopt this BC/AD timeline as well?

It is indeed very possible that Jesus was born on what we call December 25th. It all rests on when was the temple service of the husband of Elizabeth, Zechariah, to calculate the date of Jesus' birth. Elizabeth was in her 6th month of pregnancy when Mary visited Elizabeth, her relative, having conceived Jesus by the Holy Spirit.
This not a big issues for me the most important and big problem is a taken Jesus as a god in spite of he never said worship me or worship trinity....
Please worship only one true god according to Jesus and Bible....
Just think about that
With all respect and love 💕
SUNday.
Thanks and Amen subscribed
Don’t worry about when Jesus born as long as you were born you are not a teacher you are not even a profit.
You mean 21 °C
Jesus was born on Monday, March 1, 7 BC. He was born in the latter reign of Herod the Great. Herod died in 4 BC. Jesus should have been born in the royal month of September. He was given the 15th of September to be his official birthday and to be in line for Messianic requirement.
I think you did a great job morel of it all is follow Jesus share the gospel.
Fairh is based on Truth, not you what you feel it should be as long as you feel good.
This is sooooo awesome. Thank you!!!
It has pagan roots go back to the Babylonian times my brother.
Christmas adopted by Christianity has nothing to do with paganism but it has to do with Hanukkah.
Why simply arguing. Jesus was born that True. Day date and month no record is available. Then why argument.
Question: Why would God send us to hell where we have to suffer for ever when he loves us so much?
(as per the bible)
Isn't this cat and mouse game a little too childish for an all powerful good deity to trick "his creation" "that he loves" into disbelieve just so that he can punish them for all eternity?

This guy conveniently forgets to mention that
Thank you for your post. I feel quite anxious during this Christmas. Your post helps me dealing with my feelings.
@@juditlow7621 Thank you for your reply. "normal" reaction would be : "What is wrong with christmas and you? It is a family holiday and everybody in the world celebrates it"
Ol' Santa Clause will be pleased.
Did yo even watch the video at all 🙄
Your math and deductions, per se, make sense.
Matthew Henry states:
"It is supposed by many that our blessed Saviour was born much about the time of this holiday; then He left his mansions of light above to tabernacle among us (John 1:14), and he dwelt in booths. And the worship of God under the New Testament is prophesied of under the notion of keeping the Feast of Tabernacles (Zec.14: 16)."
For the gospel of Christ teaches us to dwell in tabernacles, to sit loose to this world, as those that have here no continuing city, but by faith, and hope and holy contempt of present things, to go out to Christ without the camp (Heb.
"And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn (Luke 2:7)."
Joseph and Mary took the child and flew to Egypt and remained there until they were told by God that Herod was dead.
AMEN
